Today marks the one calendar-month count down until my EDD (2/15). That is crazy. Also, not counting today, I only have 20 work days left until EDD - also cray.
My little old feeble rescue pug has been exceptionally snuggly with DH in the past month or so. When I wake up in the mornings, I find her nestled along his torso instead of mine. I am feeling part jealous, part heart-warmed by the whole thing.
I hope you ladies keep this board interesting today seeing as work is going to be WICKED SLOW.
Might as well start replying since we just did the whole re-intro thing. I have my 34 week appt today so i got to sleep in. Though being up 4 times last night is killer. I'm curious to see if they think she is still head down. I thought i felt hiccups up high on Monday but then felt them low again the last two daydays. We shall see! And it'it's warming up here which is so nice! Have a great day everyone!!

Good morning ladies! Thanks for getting us back to some normalcy aggiebug.
No real spam other than wanting to punch the next person who says: "any day now!" or "so close!" or "you look like you are going to pop!" GAH-- as if the waiting game isn't long enough!
I've been trying to enjoy my last week - three(Ahhh...I will be pregnant for a maximum of 3 weeks!) of non baby...went out to happy hours twice this week with coworkers who were in from other places (DC and Thailand) This weekend, trying to get together a girly lunch with some friends who I don't see all that often. I was really dragging the last 2 days but feeling much better today. Already did some dishes.
We figured out who my replacement is at work, she has accepted the offer, and she is due to start coming in Wednesday so I really hope baby stays in until the end of next week so I can get 2 or 3 days of transition then. It will just make things better for my boss. At least we have the person though.

Good morning ladies! I'm starting to get this gut feeling that I'm not going to make it to my due date. I've noticed some less than pleasant changes that I won't go into within the past 24 hours. On top of that, my now new stretch marks are welted up and miserably itchy. I am sitting here getting ready for work, wishing I could just start my maternity leave now.

Morning ladies. Happy Thursday. kricha2010 I'm right there with you with the 34 week appt today. I was 10-20% effaced when I went last week. Hopefully nothings changed. Spam: How in the heck did I wake up to snow, after our icy day yesterday I've had enough of winter. The nerve of the news not knowing we were gonna get some snow overnight. They keep saying its was a surprise snow shower.

What is your due date again?
Last night I had a dream Michael Jordan died and I was DEVASTATED. When I woke up I immediately checked my phone/google'd MJ to make sure it hadn't really happened. If LO is 2 days late, he'll share MJ's birthday, so I think that's where the random thoughts/dreams of #23 came from.

AMEN! I feel like I'm constantly saying to people "4 more weeks."

Hah! Such a random dream!!! Are you a big Michael Jordan fan?
Two more days of work left! I can't wait to be done, it's becoming a real struggle to get around at 38 weeks. I don't recall this feeling from last time at all. But maybe I blocked it out for a reason!

Morning lovely ladies!! Made French Toast and a hot mug of English Breakfast Tea for myself this morning. Finalized our Anniversary plans/final date night for tomorrow night with DH. Can't believe tomorrow makes 1 week until LO will be here!
Only 21 more school days until my leave starts! My principal hasn't found a sub yet, but I refuse to let that bother me. Also, being on leave means there will be nobody to tell me how big I am, that I could "go any day", or call me Miss Waddles (thanks, custodian!) I've been very good with my filter; why can't they?
Rando question: if you have a SO that travels, how soon before your due date do/did they plan on sticking closer to home?
Random question for 2nd time moms. How long until some of the joint swelling goes down? My hands feel huge and I think their size is one of the reasons why I drop things and am way more clumsy. Little worried about dropping the baby.
The ladies at my gym are doing a countdown for me at this point and end every session with 'hope we see you next week or bring the baby by'. I'm sure it's surreal for everyone that we're all pretty much in the final countdown baby, cause it sure is for me.
Today is a laundry and see if I can't get some of this swelling under control kind of day. It goes down overnight and is pretty much mostly/just in my legs and this may be an effort in futility at this point, but a girl can dream. Also knitting.
Good morning ladies. H just left for work (late) because I was up this morning with contractions. Doctor doesn't think I'll make it another week. So now I just feel like I'm sitting, waiting.

Good luck..
Thank you. They've stopped for now. But I feel like I'm just sitting at the kitchen table waiting for another. It's kind of pathetic.

That reminds me, I need to do laundry for the newborn stuff. I had been putting it off, but it's probably not the worst idea to get started! I *almost* asked if I should wash the swaddling blankets...but then I realized that is a dumb question.
I don't have a whole lot of spam. Just work and maybe some sewing of ruffled diaper covers for fun. I did have a dream last night that I stared lactating from the left breast and it was SIGNIFICANTLY bigger than the other one. It was comical.

Hey ladies! My spam today: I'm somehow getting more done than the rest of our rehearsal staff. I'm having trouble understanding how they're moving slower than a pregnant woman. It'll be a rude awakening for them when I'm out for maternity leave and not covering their asses. I just hope I don't have a mess to clean up when I return around tech week to put it all together. At least the student cast is showing some good effort!
If this LO decides to come early I'm pulling for Jan 30 (which would be a lot early so lets hope she stays in there!)... but here's my thought (brought on by MJ above), it's a) my bday which is awesome in itself... but more importantly it's b) Christian Bale's bday, and he's supa fly soooooo, there's that... mmmmmmmm, even if he IS the American Psycho... I'd do him, don't judge!
