I'm spotting, and it's totally freaking me out. It was pink a little last night, and then stopped by the time I went to bed. Got up this morning, peed once, no spotting. Peed again an hour or two after I got to work, wiped, and there was a smear of brown. I know this is probably normal, but I'm a wreck.
bluedot thinking of you. Take it easy and drink lots of water. ETA this advice goes for you too @ismellbooks!
wilburbud ME TOO on the BM thing. So WEIRD, because normally I have the opposite problem in the day to day as well as during pregnancy. (It's been fabulous )
I'm back to update. The NP said it sounds totally normal. That a lot of women spot 1st tri, and that even a little blood isn't cause for alarm. As long as it isn't a period like flow she told me to try not to worry about it.
Tagging @ismellbooks bc your situation sounds similar. ((Hugs))

A good friend of mine said she experienced spotting when she was pretty much exactly as far along as I am now... and then they found out they were having TWINS. /anecdote
I have no history of twins in my family, but I've dreamed of having them forever. I'm 99.9% sure there's no shot, but I'd love it!

My friend doesn't have twins in her family either, nor are there any twins that they know of in her husband's family. Yet they ended up with identical twin girls. There's always a shot. I'd love twins. If I have anything to say about it, we're going to be one and done, and if I get two out of the deal? Even better.
Identical twins are a "freak accident" and not hereditary. Fraternal twins are hereditary, but it doesn't matter at all if they run in the father's side, as it has no bearing on how many eggs the mother ovulated.

Huh. The things you learn. Thanks for the biology lesson.

Common misunderstanding!
My MIL constantly tells me that twins run in her family and how much she'd love us to have twins. Each time I explain the biology of twins, and why her family history has no bearing on my propensity to release eggs. Each time she says she understands. And then several months later says the same thing.
Not much in the way of symptoms here. But it's still early I suppose. Tender, swollen breasts is about the extent of it. Some end of the day bloating, but I don't think it's any worse than normal.
I hope the spotting resolves for everyone experiencing it. That must be unsettling.
@ismellbooks, I'm also resisting the urge to buy more HPTs. MH def thinks I'm nuts and said last night, "I think we've spent enough money trying to get you to believe you are pregnant." So I resisted stopping at the drugstore after dropping DS off. For now.

I'll be right by the Dollar Tree after lunch. I think tests are a buck.
@ismellbooks, I really hope the spotting stops. Brown is the least worrying kind, but I know it's so, so nerve wracking. If you think another HPT is going to help you relax, do it. I was in a state on Monday night, and Tuesday morning peed on my second to last FRER -- it really helped to alleviate my anxiety.

I was fine last week... this week, not so much. Nausea I had last time, but a few new things: bad acne, itchy sensitive boobs, exhaustion. Every morning is hell for like, 2 hours. 2nd tri suddenly seems very far away, lol.

A little cramps but not too noticeable since I used to have TERRIBLENESS cramping during my period. I feel like I'm bloated bc I can't lay on my stomach anymore. The killer for me is the all day "stomach ache". Not nauseous, but like sour stomach.

I read this as stomach ACNE, and was like whatttttt?
Crampiness and exhausted by the end of the day. I don't remember being exhausted so early last time, but then again I didn't have a minion to chase around. Praying to every god there is, that I have little to no morning sickness this time. 24 weeks of that shit last time was enough!
