The dude is up by 7. Doesn't matter if we put him to bed later or let him wear himself out. 7 o' clock he's all in my face like, "Oatmeal mommy." "Fine, fine...I'll get your fucking oatmeal."

Our little guy sometimes sleeps in, but he's also a bit of a night owl and morning snoozer. We load 3-4 books into the bottom of his crib and close the blinds. He will often hang out in bed for an extra hour on weekends when we have nothing going on. He also sleeps later when he goes to bed late. The behavior is not entirely predictable and honestly I think a lot of it is inherited.
If my little guy wakes up right at 6 or before I can nurse him back to sleep. If it is 630 he is up for the day. You see why this I should wean because he is 2 thing is so hard.

Same! On one hand I'm kind of ready to be done, but on the other hand still nursing DD makes life so much easier. :-p

I am in the same boat. I am feeling lucky if he sleeps till 7:30. We get "IT'S MORNING! COME GET ME!!!" You can't even ignore it or he will yell it louder. Plus I am afraid if we ignore it he will start trying to climb out of the crib lol

Mac wakes between 6-7. If it's closer to 6, I grab a little snack and drink for him, turn on netflix in my room, and he eats his snack in bed while watching Paw Patrol or Ninja Turtles while I sleep a little bit longer. It seems to work pretty well for us.

Ever since we finally night weaned DS around Christmas he has been getting up at 5 am EVERY DAY and demanding to nurse. We only nurse on the couch now to avoid sleep associations, so he's up for the day. It's TERRIBLE!!!!!
Honestly? LJ wakes up around 7-8 but he will happily stay in his crib for an hour just quietly playing and talking. This is the reason he will be in his crib until he's 5. He freakin loves it in there. Baby jail FTW!

DS just randomly decided he was going to sleep in until 8 or 9. Goes to bed at 8, no fighting. Sleeps all the way through. How is your sleeping arrangement set up? Do your two oldest share a room? Maybe one is waking up the other...
Logan usually wakes up around 5:30- 6. Lately, he has been sleeping in on the weekends until 7. It makes me think my alarm is waking him during the week.
I have no advice, but wanted to whine because I haven't slept later than 7, maybe once, in the last 4 years.
Some light at the end of the tunnel, my dd recently started sleeping in until 8ish.
We gave DS a clock that glows green when it's time to get up. I *think* it's helped. I also think it's helped that DH is no longer getting up at 4 am. (He's at least sleeping till 6 now, sometimes the goal-time of 7) At the very least, he generally stays in his crib pretty calmly and quietly until the light turns on.
Our boys are in bed by 7/7:30 and up at 5 every damn day. They don't discriminate Monday from Saturday. What is sleep??? We have one that's a night owl and one that's an early riser. If we split them they would die so no advise just commiserating.
