I am the queen of cheap. I bought most of mine from consignment stores. The brands I like best are Motherhood and Target's "Liz Lange". And my skinny jeans are from Walmart's maternity line called "oh mama"
I have no idea what's available for your area specifically though. :/

Motherhood Maternity is my go-to brand for best style/quality/price ratio. I also like to buy lilo maternity when it's on sale on zulily because they have a good selection of higher necklines.

I am a fan of going to motherhood maternity and checking out the clearance racks. I bought 3 pairs of pants (2 khakis for work and a pair of black jeans) and four shirts for $80 during one of their clearance events. I have loved the fit and comfort of everything I bought there. I have a few shirts from Target but I have to get a large instead of a medium there. I only shop on clearance in target because I think its dumb to pay $35 for 1 pair of jeans. I am a big fan of comfort and things that come in a petite length because I am only 5' tall.
I'm a SAHM so my "uniform" is black maternity yoga pants and a maternity tee from Old Navy. I have like 8 pairs of yoga pants at this point, and probably 20 plain tees. When I'm leaving the house, I have a couple of shirts from Pink Blush I really like. I also picked up a couple of nice sweaters from Kohl's and every time we go to the mall I end up picking up something off the clearance rack at Motherhood.

I love pink blush maternity, I always seem to catch good sales online there on their shirts. I love my Jessica Simpson maternity line skinny jeans from Motherhood Maternity. I really dislike my "skinny jeans" from old navy's maternity line, they stretch out after 20 mins of wear and become baggy/frumpy looking, not to mention the most expensive item I have bought.
Target: My mom brought me cute tunic tops and skirts for work on the clearance rack for Liz Lange Maternity.
Consignment store: Jessica Simpson Maternity top $6, Gap Maternity maxi dress $10. They had tons of other good brands, i.e. Pea in a pod, two hearts and H&M Mama.
Destination Maternity: I posted about this for you guise in the randoms thread last week; it was a clearance rack sale take an additional 40% off. I got maternity bra, panties, and cute top for great discounted prices.
Another one for Destination Maternity for their clearance racks. They had buy two get one free a week or two ago, I snagged a few cute tops for $25. My only maternity pants are from DM as well, and I like them. I couldn't find any Old Navy maternity pants that weren't too long, which is a bummer and seemed weird, since I think I'm pretty average in height at 5'6.

Agree with others that Target has some amazing stuff and so does Macy's. I'm tall and Macy's has the best tall maternity jeans Ive found, and they frequently have buy two get one free deals.
I don't really have anything new to add. Most of my maternity clothes are motherhood maternity, target and gap maternity. I have had the best luck with old navy, however the majority of my old navy clothes canes from when I had my son so that was from a few years ago.
Where have you gotten your maternity clothes from? Old Navy, Zulily, Destination Maternity
Which ones have been the best in terms of quality/look/fit? Old Navy and Destination Maternity.
Best value/cheapest stuff you have gotten? I really was not happy with the few items I received from Zulily and there are a few tops from Destination Maternity that feel cheap to me but their jeans and work pants have been awesome. I'm also loving their bras right now.
I have only bought maternity leggings from The Gap and a pair of jeans and pair of black work slacks from Old Navy that are maternity. My go to is sweater dresses in a size up from what I regularly wear (non-maternity) paired with leggings and boots. And I've gotten all of those dresses from Ross for really cheap.
So far the only actual maternity clothes I've had to buy are a few pairs of pants & leggings. My favorites are the jeans and fleece lined leggings from motherhood. For shirts I've just been wearing loose or stretchy tops from my regular wardrobe and I like how they look & fit way better than actual maternity tops I've tried on. Time will tell how long I can last without real maternity tops though!
I'm obsessed with the Gap supersoft maternity leggings. I wear them as often as I can - around the house, to go to sleep, to work if I have any clean long shirts or tunics. They are the best. I bought a lot of basic long tunics and tshirts from Gap as well and love them. So far Gap has been the winner in terms of consistent fit and quality for me.
I have some things from Old Navy and Target, but it's always been a toss up if they would fit correctly or if the quality would be nice. Actually just this weekend I returned a TON of things I ordered from Target online when they were running a sale...sometimes their stuff just doesn't work for me. I love Target's long maternity tanks though!
And my favorite jeans are from A Pea in the Pod. I never used to be a designer jean gal (my favorite non maternity jeans are actually from Old Navy), but I found a pair of Mavis on supersale and they have been a really good purchase.
Does anyone have any dress recommendations? I'm in desperate need of some dresses - both casual and fancier for showers coming up. Haven't had much luck at my go to stores.

I've had good luck with non maternity dresses at Ross/TJ Maxx
mlbrooks I haven't thought to check at TJ Maxx! Do they have a maternity section, or you usually buy a size up in normal clothes like you mentioned before?
smontz I've had really good luck with pink blush maternity, asos, and H&M. I have maternity dresses from all of them that I've worn to showers, weddings, etc. Great selection and prices I also second the Gap leggings. They are the best!
In addition to the stores mentioned above, I love my 7 for all mankind skinny jeans and Joes from Destination Maternity. I got them during a BOGO with my last pregnancy and they have been worth every penny.
I have gotten most of my stuff on sale at Motherhood or Kohls. But I did get these for work pants so that I didn't have to buy so many. I wear a belly band tank over it and vuala maternity work pants!
For work, there are NO good options! That is my biggest headache.
Motherhood- decent options and prices but crappy quality
Pea in the Pod- much better quality but pricey and only S M L
Target - I also like Target for staples: long sweaters, leggings, etc
Old Navy- love ON for cheap weekend wear!
LOFT- a few good options and on sale often. They run really small. But they are better than typical maternity stuff.
GAP- good options and good sales. Nothing too exciting.
I'm right there with you jerseyakl...my work wardrobe is hurting but with this being our last kid, I kick myself every time I entertain the idea of picking up more clothes. Loft has been my best bet for work pants, but good luck finding anything other than gray or black.
For staple t-shirts I love Gap Purebody, though they have limited colors. I feel like they offered more options back when I was pregnant with DS, but he was a summer baby, so maybe it was a seasonal thing. You can't go wrong with them though....they're more fitted and thinner so good for layers, and the ruching on the sides isn't quite so severe or "intense" as some of the tops from motherhood (I always find myself having to pull those down all the time).
Totally agree with your overall assessment of brands and quality/price/etc. though.Couldn't have written it better myself.

I buy a size up from my regular size. Just regular non maternity dresses. This way I can probably wear them again after pregnancy
I have bought most of my tops from Pink Blush Maternity. They have sales and promo codes to use. All of my pants, denim and slacks, are Oh Baby by Motherhood from Kohls. (I work there so I got some great discounts around Christmas.) But I am pretty sure they do not ship outside the U.S. I know they do not ship to Canada.
The Gap maternity jeans are super cute and stylish but you have to wait for a good sale or coupon code. I got a pair recently for $25 that was originally $70. I've also had luck at a consignment shop and found a pair of in-season maternity Citizen jeans for $25 (normally $180 at Nordstrom)!

LEAST favorite- GAP legging jeans. Over-sized (should have returned them), expensive, stretch out fast.
OK- Target Ingrid/Isabel leggings, tanks. ON: button downs/tunics, skinny jeans
Great: ON workout gear (capris, tops). Destination Maternity- work clothes (sweaters)- purchased on super sale. AG Jeans purchased at DM on SUPER DUPER sale- my favorite by far and loved that I got them for 1/3 of the original price.
What I wish was better- in general, things for working out. Has anyone found any running/ compression gear that actually stays put? Everything is so loose (for comfort) that it shifts quite a bit if you actually MOVE! Plus I HATE the support belt I bought for running... I wish someone made a belly bra. Insight??

I can't wait to read up on this thread.
I was still able to button my regular jeans this morning and the only thing that ran though my head was, "My pre-pregnancy clothes were way too baggy on me". haha.

I have a pair of pants from Old Navy, Target and two from Motherhood Maternity. I like them all. My only beef is the pants from Target aren't full panel, and I just don't love that style as much.
I have yet to purchase any maternity tops this go-round. I am still working with my pre-pregnancy shirts, but I think those days are coming to a very quick end.
The only pair of maternity pants I've ever bought that actual fit properly and don't stretch out after 5 minutes are my skinny jeans from Destination Maternity. I have two other pairs of jeans from there that I wear on super casual days, but blech. They make me feel really frumpy.
T-shirts and tops I like from Target.
That's pretty much it.
With this pregnancy (this winter), my go to outfit is skinny jeans, solid colored long sleeved tshirt, boots or flats depending on the weather, and a print scarf.

H&M! I have only made two shopping trips for maternity clothes and they were both to H&M and both super successful. They have great clothes both for everyday and work (though I don't have to wear suits to work, which they don't have). They have the cutest skinny pants and jeans and adorable tops. I honestly feel more stylish in some of their maternity clothes than I do in my normal clothes.
Make sure to call ahead, though, because not all of their stores have maternity sections. You can also shop online.
I got most of my tops at consignment stores. Things like Pea in the Pod tops for $4. I also like my Kohls and Target tops.
I actually love my skinny maternity ON pants but don't love the rest of the pants I got there, even though I normally buy all my jeans at ON. I'm just living with it for the rest of this pregnancy but next time around I'll probably look other places. I also got all of my maternity workout gear at ON and LOVE it.
I love my H&M maternity coat and leggings.
My MIL got me a maternity fleece for Xmas from Macys and it's the softest most comfortable thing.
My favorite stuff is Gap maternity, which I only buy when it is 40% off or better. But their pants hold up better and fit more like regular pants than either Motherhood or Old Navy, IMO.
