Hey Monday! Suck it!
The dog's tummy is bothering him. He has pooped a lot but I don't think it is serious because he's still eating and drinking. It has been 5 hours since he last had to go out so hopefully it has passed. He kept waking my mom up so she let him out but then he ran off at 3am (we live in a condo so he isn't really supposed to go off leash but it was the MOTN) so she had to wake us up and DH was all pissy about it. DH has been pissy all weekend actually and I am over it. He has nothing to be in such a terrible mood over. Ugh.
Seriously, I think 24-30 inches of snow is over kill. I love the snow and I can't wait to play in it, but I am in the blob that the map claims is getting 24-30 inches and 50 mile an hour winds. I don't want to loose power. I am a bit nervous about this storm.

lainikins I don't want to lose power either! They're predicting up to 70 mph wind gusts here. That's way more likely to knock out power for us than a lot of snow. Ugh. Though I am excited to actually have snow for DS to play in. We haven't gotten any yet!

I really hope it doesn't dump as much as what they think. Our totals keep fluctuating because any slight shift either direction will throw us into a totally different amount zone, but even so, I keep adding about 1-2" to the predicted totals because they've consistently lowballed the amounts for every single storm this year, and I have a feeling that we're going to get hammered even though I'd rather not see that.

No snow here yet either. My husband is suppose to have is first class of his new semester tonight in Boston that would not have him coming home until 10 pm. The blizzard warning starts at 7. They have not cancelled the class yet and I don't want him to go.

We don't have a generator, and I really want to get one, but can't get DH on board. At least not in this house. Part of it is out of laziness because I don't want to have to do manual CPT on Judith if our power goes out, but part of it is also because I know we're going to need one eventually so we can run nebs while the power is out, and the selfish side of me wants it so we can hook up the modem to it and still have internet access.
GL to all you guys that are getting lots of snow and wind this week. Thinking good thoughts for not losing power and kiddos having off from school to enjoy it!

I had what seemed like the longest freaking walk from our car to the door to get into school. The parking lot seemed beyond full. That + holding a bundled up 40lb kid drudging in slush hoping to not fall.. yea, I'm tired already. I was supposed to go get some groceries but I think I'll just leave early instead before getting DS. I seriously feel like I just ran a marathon.

Hopefully you guys don't lose power!
Thanks. I hope you don't get hammered too badly, you know unless it involves alcohol.

I'm happy we're out of this storm system so we're not expecting anything. I hope all you guys are safe and/or there's not as much as they're calling for.
It is a rainy gray day here. I think I might attempt to make DD a special fort since we will probably not spend a lot of time outside. I have to go to the dentist tomorrow to have them look at the filling that came out. I can feel it being uneven on my tooth. I'm wondering if it is really that big of a deal. I guess we'll see.
Stay safe everyone in the path of the storm! I remember the one we had in MA in early 2013. It SUCKED, and this one sounds worse. FX for no power loss and everyone's safety!
Also I'll the thinking about you guys getting hit with the storm while I'm secretly happy its skipping Buffalo this time around. Snowmagedon we got hit with in November was more that enough for me.

I dropped a box of DD's clothes at consignment on Friday. They were supposed to call me on Saturday with and they never did. I told DH about it and he thinks I may have just donated the clothes and will not get money for them. I hope he is wrong. I'm getting ready to go to the store and see what happens.
DD is sleeping like crap and last night was the worst. Musical beds, lots of drinks, needing to go to the bathroom...I feel like I maybe got 3 hours? I was going to travel to a meeting this morning, but decided to join by phone instead.

lainikins I commuted to Boston for nursing school and they never called classes until the freaking snow was terrible and then it was a nightmare to drive in! It was so frustrating. I feel like my school based cancellations on the fact that the majority of students and teachers lived on campus or in the city but I had a 65 mile drive so it sucked. I hope YH stays safe and that they end up cancelling!
emmaswan DS was a newborn in that storm! We lost power for a little bit and it was so stressful having a barely two week old with no heat. At least now I have a kid who can regulate body temperature on his own
lildis Hugs! I swear every time I check they've upped the inches predicted on us
i can't believe the totals. It seems they have given up because now most maps are just showing a giant area of 2 ft+. It could get a bit crazy tomorrow. I hope everyone stays safe.
