I'm sitting in the RE for IUI #2. H just left his sample but has to return cuz his numbers are pretty low. They are hoping that another sample will get his numbers high enough to make it worth while. I'm sort of freaking out. I will be so disappointed if we can't do it and have to wait another month. Deep breaths.
This is my first medicated cycle and my first time with all the monitoring appointments. I'm trying to be breezy ("Oh yeah - I was at the doctor's for 1.5 hours this morning, Husband. It wasn't a big deal, though."), but inside I'm like "HOLY SHIT. This is a lot of effing work. Let's not screw this up."

Yes! It's so hard to be cool about it all. After this, I get to return to work and act all chill like I'm not in pain (mentally and physically) while discussing curriculum.

Good luck 2WW ladies! cateyes, mugster, goldenlove3, I have my fingers, toes, and eyes crossed for you mrsjene I am so sorry for another failed cycle and having to take such a big step to move on to IVF. So many hugs and good thoughts being sent your way! Cythe I hope your cyst gets the fuck out of town soon! It sucks to have medicated cycles delayed ****** I have been there, I am currently in the NTNP stage, which statistically is basically CFNBC, I think I have less than a 5% chance of conceiving a take home baby naturally at this point. I am so sorry you are going through this, I know how painful it is and wish you strength and send you love @bloodyjack87 and kaliRN I am so excited for you both and your IVF cycles! I hope everything continues to go smooth, so much love for you and you embies RaeLynn28 good luck on your first IUI cycle! I hope first time is a charm for you @pineappleoranges I am so sorry you are in limbo land. Out of nowhere my cycles went from 30 days to 35 days, that first one threw me for a loop! I stopped temping too, and the whole not knowing what was going on was torture. I hope your cycle ends soon so you can get back to trying Daikoku good luck with your IUI!!! I am so glad the numbers came back where they need to be and you can move forward!!! Now go get inseminated snakefisherbub I am so sorry you are hurting, I am sending you a big hug XXXXX <that's 5 of them madamewaffles nay update on your embies and transfer?? @diordra I am so excited for you!! I hope your second beta comes back with amazing numbers and you have a happy, healthy, and easy pregnancy
Thank you so much cateyes for everything you do to keep this check in going. I love being able to share with and support you amazing ladies!
July 2013 started TTC 7/20/2014=BFP; CP confirmed 8/1/2014 Dec 2014: Diagnosis = Unexplained IF 12/24/2014 Medicated TI (clomid)=BFN 1/22/2015: IUI #1 cancelled due to cyst 02/17/2015: IUI #2 cancelled due to another cyst 3/31/2015: IUI with Femera, 1 good follie, great sperm count = CP, my December Rainbow became an Angel
mugster, I had quite a bit of cramping after my IUI, but yours sounds a little more severe. Glad it seems to have subsided. And don't you love all of the non-sexy sexytime that we have to indure with IF??
mrsjene, so sorry you are having a tough time, and that IUIs didn't work for you. I wish you the best of luck as you embark on your IVF journey!
******, hugs lady, hang in there! I haven't had my progesterone checked, but I kind of wish my doctor HAD checked it. So maybe we can switch docs? Lol.
goldenlove3, just want to say your golden is adorable. I had a golden growing up - she passed away last year but she was the sweetest thing. My parents have a new golden who is cute, but a handfull! Goldens are the best.
RaeLynn28, happy anniversary to you and YH! Sorry you couldn't go away this time. IF sucks
kaliRN, that's exciting that you have been able to move so quickly on IVF! FX for you and hope everything goes smoothly!
getzystark, sounds like you have a good plan in place. I have always been interested about acupuncture and wanted to try it. If this IUI is a bust for us I might have to look into it!
madamewaffles, AHHHH such great news!! I will be thinking about you tomorrow, please update us!
Andrea my RE also didn't think I needed an HSG, because I have been pregnant twice, with my first one being a confirmed intrauterine pregnancy, and my second being right before we started treatment. It does make me a little nervous but I trust my doctor. So you're not alone!
helloerrbody and Daikoku I also have a retroverted uterus, and my IUI definitely did NOT feel good. Woohoo for our non-conformist organs?
AFM, I’m in the slowest 2WW of my life – I’m currently 9dpiui, 11dpt. I have been trying to test out my trigger – anyone else who does this, how long does it usually take for you to get a stark white peestick after a trigger? I tested this morning and the line was still there, although super faint. My crazy brain was trying to tell me that it looked a little darker than when I tested this weekend, but I don't know if that's even true. I've been having a lot of cramping, especially on my left side, which is the side my follicle was one (cue crazy train).
I’m probably going to test again Thursday morning at 11dpiui because I am a peestick-aholic.
AFM, I got my cycle yesterday and called to nurse to set up this months plan. We will be going letrozole from cd 5-9 and on cd 10 I will go in for an ultrasound to see what is going on and to make sure that we don't miss my surge. We will continue ultrasounds every other day until I am ready to trigger and then do TI. I am just hoping and praying that my body will cooperate with me this month.
QOTW: The ** don't bother me, what every is easier for the check-in leader is fine with me.
Ok, ladies. I know I can google this but Dr Google usually freaks me out or convinces me I'm totally broken.
I got the call today that my progesterone wasn't high enough to confirm ovulation. It was 9.3 and doc wants it over 10. The nurse said to call if I don't start my period and they will give me something to start it, no biggie. Except here's what I'm thinking. What IF I did O, and progesterone is my problem. Is it possible to have low progesterone but still O? Is there a test to determine what exactly the problem is? Like, maybe I O but I need progesterone during my LP?? Is that a thing? Or does progesterone supplementation during LP do something different than what I'm thinking?
My cycle is regular. So I honestly don't think I'm NOT ovulating but doc does. *sigh* am I just being crazy irrational? Could I just need progesterone instead of clomid?
Tl/dr: is lower progesterone levels ALWAYS indicative of annovulation?
Usually anything over 5 means you ovulated. If it is not over 10, REs tend to lean towards saying you have a progesterone deficiency. You probably just need a progesterone supplement during the TWW. I completely think you ovulated, so I wouldn't worry.

My progesterone at 7DPO was 4.5. My doctors said I ovulated (because anything over 2 confirmed it, I think).
Progesterone is a mixed bag of murkiness. My luteal phases are long and strong. My progesterone that day at that time was lower than *I* would've liked to have seen, but didn't concern anyone. Had we drawn my blood later that day, perhaps it would've been higher. I have no idea.
Some REs don't even prescribe supplemental progesterone because they think the tests are just not accurate enough.

Howdy gals! I am PUPO! All 6 of my embabies grew to be perfect little 5AA blasts so we chose 1 tiny snowflake to go back in my ute this morning. The procedure itself went great, I barely felt anything with the exception of my bladder being ready to burst from being so full. I had the best pee of my life after that was over! MH picked up lunch not too long ago and I am snuggled in with Disney movies for the rest of the day.

So many hugs going out this week! IF sucks major ass.
@diordra huge congrats to you!Try not to focus too much on the actual number right now, my numbers always start out low. All that matters is your doubling time & you're really only looking for about a 68% increase in 48 hours. FX your next draw gives you some confidence. madamewaffles congrats on your transfer! FX hard for you!
AFM I'm ready to punch kittens. I finished Provera last Wednesday, CD 1 hit on Saturday. I went back to the RE yesterday & the same 4 cm cyst is still right where it was, but my hormones looked good. My RE decided he wanted to take a look at my operative report from April to see if the surgeon observed a cyst, he suspected that it's just a persistent cyst that he didn't need to worry about. I was confused about him asking for that report because I saw him in March & he, himself, observed a 4 cm cyst on my right ovary. But, I requested the report & sent it over; my surgeon stated that he didn't observe a cyst in April. But how the fuck is it there in March, gone in April, & now back for the last 2 weeks! So today after he reviewed my file, he has my nurse call me & tell me that he wants to wait for me to have a natural cycle to get a better picture of whats going on. My nurse said she told him that she doesn't think I'll get a "natural cycle" based on whats been going on since January, so I'm to call in 30 days or when my period shows. If I need to, I'll take another round of Provera & I guess we figure it out from there. I'm just pissed because we have OOT travel planned for the next 3 months, so between this natural cycle BS & that, we could be looking at like December before I can have another IUI. I'm hoping that won't be the case, but nothing seems to be coming up Becky these days.

madamewaffles, I'm really happy to hear the transfer went well today. I'm curious (because I have no experience in this realm), do you go in again for monitoring soon? When do they take another look? When can things be confirmed?
beckynsean11, I'm so sorry to hear things are on hold for you. I will cross my fingers that not ALL of your OOT time will interfere with IUI.

The next step is beta blood test in 9 days. If it is positive, the beta will be repeated 2 days later to see if the numbers double properly. If that is good, then I go in 2 weeks later for an ultrasound to confirm. If beta is negative, I will stop my estrogen and progesterone and then get a period and start FET prep again.
