Hopefully you guys don't mind me chiming in - I haven't posted in a while here.
DH has been away the last 2 days so I've been handling bedtime and the mornings by myself with both kids. The first time for each was a disaster but I thankfully learned and last night and this morning went a lot more smoothly. Yay!
And I finally bit the bullet and sleep trained (i.e. let him CIO) DS2. It was fairly gradual but it seems to have worked pretty well - he still wakes up but usually goes back to sleep by himself after crying for a minute or two.
Welcome back @anm! I think we need a HDBD pic of your LO's awesome hair.
Speaking of ANBs hair... Do you put anything in it? I put coconut oil in K's hair which works in the front and on the top but the hair on the back of her head is always really dry and becomes tangled knots by the end of the day.
Ugh. I don't put anything on it right now and it is driving me crazy. He gets tangled knots too so I am going to look for a kid friendly detangler next time I go to the store. His hair is like mine just curly, so I think that's what I need right now. It doesn't get too dry.
americanninjamommy of course you still go here. Prayers for your brother and I hope you can go see him this weekend. If not, is he strong enough for a Skype/FaceTime visit?
He's doing well and can probably Skype soon. I just got a text that they might actually release him to go home (probably to stay with my parents) sometime this afternoon!

If you find something good please let me know. K's for the most part is just curly too and the coconut oil seems to bring out the curls like a hair gel would but the tangles in the back are horrible.
jeniece47 not a chance she will sleep, but OMG so cute!! Has anyone dropped down to one nap? DS took one 2-hour nap yesterday from noon-2, and he was crazy tired at bedtime, but I was wondering if maybe we should try it.
Emma has a time limit on naps..so if she takes an hour nap she only takes 1. Otherwise she normally takes 2 thirty minute naps.
K is becoming a picky eater. The only thing I M guaranteed to get her to eat is cheese (preferably string cheese) and pasta. She doesn't want me to feed her but occasionally will suck on the puree pouches. Occasionally she will eat eggs if I put enough cheese on it or peaches and tomatoes. I offer her whatever we are eating but she isn't having it. She doesn't even like bread anymore. I hope she gets over this before we transition from formula to WCM.

DS goes through phases where he wants to feed himself alternating with wanting us to feed him. Maybe try switching it up? Also, DS doesn't eat for about an hour after nursing/bottle, but sometimes when I'm cry crunched for time it's closer and he will eat less or not at all. Just keep trying.

Currently enjoying a spa day in preparation for the wedding this weekend. I love mani pedis. On the down side, DS woke up with pretty bad diarrhea and now has a low grade fever. Of course this would happen when DH and I have to leave for the whole weekend.
Aww hope he is feeling better Enjoy your spa day!!
Hi! Still in the depth of moving and packing wilderness. A couple looked at our house Tuesday night and didn't hate it. We got good feedback from them regarding our photos and listing. Sadly the want something different. But to even have people come look at it 4 days after we listed it for sale makes me hopeful.
Oh an according to DH, B allegedly took 2 steps yesterday.

Hope all is well with you fine lady's.
Moving and buying/selling real estate sucks, but glad you are getting some interest. The market must be totally different there. 8 people saw the house we bought on the first day it was listed, including us, and 9 people put in offers. It's a zoo here. Eeeeeek about walking babes! I knew it was going to happen, and might even for us soon, but I'm not ready!

Uhhhhh. I am wearing two different shoes. I just noticed this as I sit in a meeting. This happened because I keep an extra pair of shoes under my desk and I slipped my shoes off and accidentally slipped the wrong one back on. How did I not notice this before? I'm not winning today. #sleepyfail

kellrr, certain areas are very hot. The house we are buying sold in one day with 4+ offers made. Sadly, our house is on a street with some hood elements so it is not a very desirable location for most people.
Not to mention it is a garden home with limited parking. So we really need a certain type of buyer to be interested. It would be perfect for a young male professional/ college student but really isn't near the colleges in town.
DH bought this house 18 years ago and the area wasn't that bad then...

I hope your house sells quickly. I tell DH that K hasn't learned something until I see it.

I think a lot has to do with how well you price it. We listed ours on a Thursday night and had two offers the Saturday morning.
