I've decided I love baby wearing. I feel better walking around with her next to me than in a stroller, and it's so much easier to maneuver the narrow sidewalks of downtown without a stroller. We walked several miles yesterday and I barely felt her weight. I did feel hot. Bc it was 100 outside.

If I ever come across a Didymos Sterntaler It will be mine, somehow. I'm really getting obsessed with wovens since I tried someone's on with their kid last week. Didymos and Natibaby both have SUCH beautiful prints. I don't know how to choose. My birthday is on Sept. 10th, I have to narrow it down.

Woohoo! I never run across a b-day twin. You SHOULD. It's really one of those things that's "for the baby," how selfless of you!

That's my wedding anniversary! It's a great day all around!

Me and my mom. Who is a cat. Cat mom!
Made the mistake of going to city market on saturday with our stroller and accidentally parked on king street. Not only was I drowning in sweat, but we couldn't go into any stores with him and I spent more time making sure I didn't hit anyone with the stroller than getting to look at stuff.

shannonabigail yup. I thought for all of 2 seconds of bringing the stroller then I remembered going there and watching people with strollers struggling to maneuver and was like nope. The sidewalks are too uneven and narrow and crowded for that. Plus it looked like rain and I didn't want rain blowing into her stroller.

I have two moby wraps (one I bought and the other was a "hand-me-down" given to me by my cousin) and I have a snugli (another hand-me-down, from step sister this time) but I'm thinking the ring sling would be so much easier. I might have to order one.

I started using my ring sling, with the OK from the ped. (E is still quite small, so I wanted to check. Doc said his only concern is usually with preemies.) If anyone is thinking about it, but not sure (heavenwhip) give it a try! I used a couple of the WrappingRachel videos on youtube and it took a few tries, but we figured it out. E absolutely loves it.
I want a ring sling... and a woven wrap... and a kinderpack... and I have lots of money at the moment... and not a lot of self-control. I need to stay away from b/s/t groups on fb right now. All I have now though is a Boba wrap so I should at least get one of those, right?!?!
good thing I've been practicing a few years. It's so different when you can't make a seat. Not something I would do out and about either. It took a while.

I finally tried the Moby my friend let me borrow and it was amazing! I felt like superwoman and she loved it! Took two tries though cause the first time I got her in she proceeded to poop and then spit up. I changed her diaper and blow dried the spit up and put her right back in!

I have an ergo with the infant insert and love it, but can't wear it outside long because it is too hot for DD. What kind of wrap is recommended for a beginner?
