Thought about you 42butterflies. We got a letter from K's school. The Back to School night is a Wednesday. The parents 1st grade on get told who their teacher is *the day before*! The day before! I need to know these things way ahead of time!!
That's what's happening here! The class lists are posted the day before DS starts school!
Dude, when I got home from the CVS, the neighbor kid who called me a bitch a month ago came over to my yard to greet me out of the car. He said "Hi mom! I love you!", followed me to my back yard, tried to follow me into my gate, all again saying I love you mom! Gimme a kiss!
WTAF?
Um, this does not sound like appropriate behavior. Something sounds up / fishy.
(Sorry for the hair ramblings) I've always identified as a blonde because that's what I've been, but over the years my hair has gotten darker. Yet, I don't feel like a true brunette. It's "in-between blonde and brown." Bro-nde?

I'm having a big glass of Chardonnay. I haven't had a raise or bonus in 5 years. It's been tight with one income. I asked for a raise today and it was approved!
When I do laundry, I put the kids' and mine away and leave H's on the bed, nicely folded in appropriate piles. After he put K to bed, he came in our room, saw his pile of clean clothes, and said "oh great... one more thing for me to do!". Seriously?? Screw you dude. I'm not your maid to put everything in your drawers and stuff. *internal screaming*
I'd really want to toss his pile in the air and say, "no, now there's 25 more things for you to do! Lol"

I feel ya in this one. I actually fold and put away and hang H's clothes. He had the audacity to say something indirectly, "A, mama's going upstairs for who knows how long again." I'm always upstairs doing laundry, putting bills or papers away or getting A's clothes ready for the next day since I get us both ready in the morning EVERYDAY! It's not like I'm up there watching TV or playing on my phone like he usually is. I usually take A with me but if I'm trying to do it quickly while waiting on dinner or something, I'll leave her downstairs. I told him I would gladly go back to each of us doing our own laundry if he needed me downstairs so desperately. Haven't heard the stupid comment in awhile now.
M was devastated today when he accidentally peed on some of his train track pieces. I think his brain understands potty training, but his little body isn't ready. I've never seen him truly sad about something before and it was hard to watch.
I had a migraine so bad today that it caused me to throw up. That's a first for me. And it was awful. I'm seriously so dang thankful my monday babysitter was here for me to watch the kids until H got home.
Ugh. A bad migraine is the worst. I'm glad you had some back up. I have parented with a migraine but luckily it was just K. And it was pretty rough. There was some serious free range parenting going on. Feeling better now?

That's when I offer to give him his own laundry basket to do his laundry on his own.

Oh and because I know you were all on the edge of your seats waiting... I can't use Canadian prepaid visas to buy things on American websites.. It's like they have thought of everything?! #canadaproblemseh
One would think that after our big day, M would be eager to get some rest. NOPE. 2+ hours of bedtime resistance. Phone battery is dead, gave her some Tylenol, and she's with H. It isn't going well.

pitchslap - I had to give in and start putting DH's laundry away. He just let it sit and sit and sit and sit until I couldn't take it anymore. I just couldn't stand nagging him anymore.
I swear, with some things, it's like pulling teeth. Easier to avoid the whole thing and just do it myself.
vasc - I think I'll be in the same bro-nde(?) place in a few years. I was blonde as blonde could be when I was little, but it's been darkening over the years. I just keep hoping the summer sun will bleach it back for me, but no dice. I think you did a wonderful dye job, fwiw!
Re laundry... Mine is currently put away. Js is ready to be put away. My husbands has been sitting (clean and unfolded) in a hamper for a few days. ETA it will stay that way until i need that hamper to bring dirty clothes downstairs to wash.
