M has started doing this thing where he can be playing happily but as soon as he sees me he starts crying and comes to me and stays fussy. Do your babies do this?
Omg yes. So much. So I end up trying to peek around corners to see her without being caught. I've had to really beef up my ninja skills.

That is so funny. My kid does the same thing. As long as she doesn't see me it is ok. It is the same when I put her to bed at night. I try to lay her down and quickly sneak out, otherwise if I look at her after I put her down, she freaks out.

DD officially pulled herself up to standing to the first time this weekend. Today was the first time she pulled herself up in her crib though. She was excited because I was but now I feel like I can't even leave her in her crib. What if she falls and bashes her head or something?

Unfortunately it's probably bound to happen. My dd has fallen and hit her head in her crib several times. More than several actually. It doesn't even phase her anymore.

She will. The falling and the bashing are unavoidable. Then, they start to get a little more steady, but a little more brave, too.
I am going to my work outting. Wish me luck. I will only drink lite beer
I can't wait for this day to be over!!! Tuesdays are my least favorite day of the week and my anxiety has been through the ROOF.
Treat yo self (to lite beer and healthy snacks)! I have been having a super stressful day, too, and I've decided to not dwell on it and just do my best to push through. You can do it!

Same here. Especially MOTN when he's half awake and trying to walk around.
Hi!!! Sorry I have been MIA. I have been so behind at work and need to do work. Plus, we both made a pledge to spend less time on our phones. It's cut into my social media stuff a lot. But I'll be back in action soon.
Thanks for thinking of me and all the good thoughts. I REALLY appreciate it. It really hit me that weekend what a community I've got from all of O14.
The weekend was okay. A little tough but that's how it goes. I'll try and get caught up here!
sweetsurprise - I have lost weight since weaning. But I am one of the unfortunate people that gain (a lot) while bf'ing.
Also - J loved that hotdog song from Mickey!! We have a tradition (well, does 2 years make a tradition?) of watching all of our J videos on the anniversary and we found an amazing one of him dancing to it. Hearing the song makes me smile.
Totally losing NotchBet. Gained weight thanks to Cape May ice cream.
Hey ladies! 6 pages wow!! We've really stepped it up lately!
DD took 2 accidentally steps today..I let go and she didn't realize right away and kept moving. Once she realized I wasn't there she promptly sat down and threw a tantrum.
Oh the word "no" finally appears to me something to her. She jumps when I say it, stops what she's doing, then once again throws herself on the ground. I've got myself a drama queen. Haha.
meagpt22 - C has known "no" for a while. We'd say no and he shakes his head. We say "yes" and he starts to nod... Pauses and then shakes his head no and laughs. What a jerk.

C just learned no as well. But I don't think he understands the meaning. I tell him no and he gives me a kiss. Or maybe he's just learning how to work me.

Good to see you again! I was thinking this morning "I bet happyin14 is secretly winning the notch bet and just leading everyone on." Now I'm actually excited to know who the dark horse is! Which is silly since I'm not participating (well, I cheer for you all-does that count?)
meagpt22 how is work going? I know the per diem thing was off to a rocky start.
With the new place it's going much better. After orientation/training was done I started getting done on time. When I'm there my commute is only 15/20 minutes which is huge (the other place it's an hour). And a major plus is working less and so far I haven't seen a loss in income. I know this may change after summer but I'll take it. Thanks for asking.

I say anything about daddy and K starts blowing kisses. She does it every time she sees him too.
