E had his appointment yesterday. He is 33 inches and 19 lbs 9 oz. We are starting some pediasure type supplements to see if he can gain weight and we will go back in 6 weeks for a check.
He's never been on the chart for weight but as always gone up at his own curve. This time he fell. I'm not terribly worried since neither me or DH are very big and he's exceeding all of the other milestones he should be meeting. But he hasn't physically grown at all since our 18 month appointment.
photomama1990,I hope the pediasure helps him put some weight on. Did the pediatrician also talk with you about feeding calorie dense foods to make the most of what he does eat? Does he just generally have a small appetite, or is he picky about food?

aydee We are trying to feed him calorie dense foods. He likes meat, so I am going to make some meatballs with mushed avocado, cheese and carrots in them. I think he will like them and I'll make a big batch so it can always be an easy go to if he's not eating anything else. He like fruit and that is the constant that I can get him to eat, but it's hard to bulk that up, and he's not thrilled about smoothies or pouches. We all eat full fat dairy anyway, so we will continue with that. He doesn't like carbs like pasta or bread. It's fairly frustrating trying to feed him.
photomama1990, that does sound really challenging. Avocadoes are one of DD's best sources of calories (she's not picky but isn't a huge eater). Can your DS eat nuts? That might be a good snack if he's not allergic. Maybe some trail mix since he also likes fruit?
DD is 33 lbs and almost 35 inches tall. She's always been at the top of the charts. Looks like she may be a tall girl like her daddy - it's sure not like me!
Just had our 2 year today; DS is 28.5lbs and 33.5 inches. He made a huge jump on the growth chart in the last six months, so that was kind of exciting. He was on the low end of both height and weight, and now he is average in both. A little behind in verbal skills still, but the doctor wasn't concerned. He said to call in six months if DS wasn't stringing at least two words together yet, but he's always been just a touch behind and usually catches up after a month or two.

DS had his visit today. 33 inches and 26.2 lbs, which is funny since his 4 yo sister is about 28 lbs. (She was/is one of those tiny ones that wasn't even on the curve.) Pedi was a bit concerned about his speech so we're going to get him evaluated for that. I'm not too too concerned because he is progressing, but it is just at a slower pace than normal. But I'm glad for the eval just to make sure we are on track.
DD's appointment was Wednesday. She was 27.2 lbs and 35". That means she gained nearly 8 lbs and grew 5.5" in a year. And if that thing about your adult height being double your height at 2, she's going to be a tall girl, at 5'10"!

The kiddo weighed in at 25.8 pounds with a slightly wet diaper and was 33.75 inches or 2 feet, 9.75 inches. Head is 19 inches. She's doing great, still right around the middle. Though after looking at the print out her head jumpd up to 75%.
Our well visit isn't for a few weeks but I had to take him for a sick visit last week and he was 29 lb and we measured him vs a height chart and looked to be about 33 inches tall.

I'm going to have to post his 2.5 year old stats the way things are going - his well-visit for tomorrow (already a month behind) got postponed due to snow and is now not until mid-April.....hmmm

I haven't scheduled my kids yet oops! I will probably be joining you on the 2.5 year stats
Brooklyn doesn't have her well check until next month, but when we went to WIC yesterday, they measured her. She was 32" and 25 lbs. They told me that she was in the 16% for height and 92% for weight. I gave them a major side-eye. Now I'm wondering where they're getting their percentiles from....and they had the audacity to tell me she's on the border of where they'd be concerned about her weighing too much.

Someone can't read a graph, apparently. DD was 30 lbs and not even 92nd percentile.
DD finally had her visit today. She is 25.5 lbs and 35.25 inches tall. The doctor said she is very tall, I think she was in the 79th percentile for height. DH and I are both short but my brother is tall. Maybe she got it from him.
Visit was today and dd was 24 pounds and 34 inches tall. She only had to get one shot, but her mean mommy asked them to check her vitamin d levels and they decided to check iron stores too bc she is not eating much meat. I am very deficient in vitamin d and she won't drink milk so I am curious and wondering if I should supplement more. The screams from the blood draw had me second guessing that decision however.
