so this is kind of weird to me to be doing an intro but I feel like this place is a good place to hang out and I figured this is as good a way as any to start out/jump in for anyone who doesn't already know me from GKU.
****trigger warning pet loss and child mentioned****
im Ray, your resident cutlery-wielding chicken, and I've been here since the exodus and at TD a couple years before that on TTGP and BOTB. DH and I have been TTC off and on for the past year and a half while juggling finances, new jobs etc, I have 2 step-sons who are rock stars and 2 dogs - Bailey (brown dog) and Cricket (small dog). We recently lost our big boy Titus.
I also do at-home instruction for a grade 7 student living with severe depression and social anxiety in addition to my regular job as a French teacher.
Ive been having a rough go dealing with... Just everything I guess lately so I figured since this place is an awesome place to give and get support TTC, that it would probably also be a good place to give and get support for all the other craziness that comes with life.
im still not 100% comfortable opening up about my own mental wellness stuff but I'm hoping that changes as I settle in here
looking forward to getting to know the unfamiliar faces,
Ray
