Numbers: CD1/ 2nd PP cycle. TTA for now...

Circumstances: Just over 13w PP. PCOS. TTA until at least December. Just finished first month of BCP and hating it.

Rants/Raves/No Flame No Shame Questions: I am still feeling really torn about how long to TTA. I wish I could make up my mind. I am worried deciding to wait longer (next Sept-ish) could end up with a larger age gap than we are hoping for because PCOS, which also = me off work longer since I'll SAH until school-age (where I live it is cheaper for me to SAH than daycare + commute to work). Honestly, my only fears with 2u2 is that I wont be good enough to handle it. Also, I want to take some time to lose the extra 80lbs I've beeing carrying around the last few years. My H is really pushing to at least NTNP by December.

GTKY: If you could download any skill into your brain (so that you would become an expert overnight), what would it be?
I wish I was really crafty/handy. Knitting, sewing, woodworking, stained glass, re-upholstering all of it.

Just want to be a nice normalish friendly person, not the crazy lady who is present

PepperPottsJ Hugs. The crazies have hit me hard for a few cycles and I have considered asking my doctor about PMDD. I find exercise helps greatly but some months I just can't rein it in. It sucks.

obi No matter what happens, know you are a good mother! And GL with your weight loss. I have 70 pounds to lose and one of my reasons for pushing back TTC is I want to lose at least a good chunk of that before getting pregnant again.

That's exciting!  You're very brave.  Good luck with 2u2! 

I'm gonna hang tight for a while for a few reasons (AF is already back for me b/c I wasn't able to BF).  Aside from just being irrationally confused about my own feelings, I've got a few medical reasons to wait.  Hoping I'm ready for Dec/Jan.  I have irregular cycles so I don't plan on waiting too long unless my OB/endo/GP suggests otherwise.  For now, I'm on BCP to encourage regular cycles again (it worked with depo provera but I can't go on that again).

PepperPottsJ Hugs! I am sorry you are having a tough time figuring out what is going on with your moods. I went down the crazy train of googling PMDD a month or so ago because after I O or mid-cycle since I can't really confirm O w/o temping my mood changes drastically. I start feeling depressed and I get really worried because it was something I was medicated for in the past. Once AF comes I feel like my normal happy bubbly self, just crampy. I hope you can find an answer.

mosdub,hurricanerek, Mosdub is mostly right about the LPs... every once in a while a shorter LP is not bad, but the standard is 3 consecutive LPs less than 10 days consult your doctor. You could have a progesterone problem. Implantation happens between 7 and 10 days and if your LP is only 10 or less days your body isn't getting the time it needs.

TheEleventhHour, I don't think I said this yesterday but I am so so happy you have internet and are back with us!! Woo hoo!! I am sorry that you are going to have to TTA for a while longer but it seems like you are feeling good about waiting and have some things to do it the meantime! So I am happy for that

obi, Good luck as you try and figure out when you guys will start TFAS. That sounds like a hard decision to have to make! I have no good advice but to say that you have til December at least to decide, maybe after a little more time and some more time with your baby you will have some more clarity. I think it is a really good idea to take an honest look at how you feel like you would handle 2 kids but please don't be too hard on yourself. We are usually our own worst critics. acorn99 Hugs. We are most likely TTA for another year, and while I know that makes most sense for us, I still get sad when I see BFP. And it doesn’t help that somehow social media magically knows the days when you’re struggling the most and 18 announcements pop up at once!!!

penguin129 Sorry your DD hasn’t been sleeping well. I always have a little worry when I think about TFAS. Certain stages/ages are so challenging and some days the thought of having two seems impossible! I try to remind myself that that these stages/issues are so small in the grand scheme of life and things will definitely get better!

hurricanerek I track all sorts of things just for my own use but the only thing I have ever noticed change crosshairs is when I have a big change in sleep or time I temp. Otherwise I’ve never noticed a difference.

bighair12 That is great your IUD is out! I’m sorry your OB ruled out a VBAC for you.

@girlymama Hopefully AF returns for you soon!

teachermomtobe I think getting back to the classroom will definitely help! I find staying busy helps me not dwell or obsess on stuff as much. I am sorry you are having a rough time. Huge hugs.

gabride2010 What CD did you start temping? I have had a couple of weird cycles where I O’d way earlier than usual and ended up missing it!

My temps have been steadily increasing over the last 3 days, but I haven't had any fertile CM. My body confuses me!

Thanks! I'm trying to get my foot in the door as a concert soloist and I also plan to audition for several professional choirs and festivals. Most things like that require a demo track of you singing for the initial application, so that's what the recording is for. As for the details, I sang:

Guardian Angels from The Triumph of Time and Truth by Handel
Stetit puella, In trutina, and Dulcissime from Carmina Burana by Orff
Zerfliesse mein herze from The Passion According to St. John by Bach
I felt a funeral in my brain from Twelve Poems of Emily Dickenson by Copland

It's all just me with piano accompaniment. We recorded at our church (entirely stone nave=fantastic acoustics for singing). There was a bit of a scare when we found that buzzing from an ungrounded mic had been picked up, but my brilliant husband was able to fix it last night. I'm thrilled with how it turned out!

A few of you asked me to come back later this week and update you once I got the results from my next hCG draw. I'm down to 88 (as of yesterday morning) from 316 last Thursday afternoon.

Dr office seems pleased with that and I'm just happy to be under 100. Of course now it's right to FX for another good drop next week.
