Not sure if we're going trick or treating. Our neighbors down the road who we used to go visit for our "trick or treating" moved, so we don't really have a place to go. That being said, maybe.
I'm leaning toward a construction worker of some sort. LO is crazy into big trucks, and I figure it'd be that or a lawn care professional based on his current interests ;-)
Still trying to see if I can get him to decide what he wants this year since he may actually have an opinion about it when the time comes.

I tried that. Haha J said "poopy, red poopy" then he upped it to include corn! Ummmm no!!
We went trick or treating last year. It was more just visiting places we knew and seeing the people. She got minimal candy and we ate it all. Probably do the same this year.
Not sure for a costume. When I was at the Disney Outlet like a year ago, I got her the official Princess Sofia dress because it was marked down from $75 to $15. So we might just go with that..
The cold is an issue here too. (Most years) I was thinking he could be a basketball player but id need some sort of skin colored pants and long sleeve shirt to keep him warm. I dont know if i will be able to find them.

Can he be a Rangers player? Blue pants and top... cut out the letters in red felt or something and superglue (?) to the top?
He's not really into hockey yet. That would be easier bc they wear shorts and then thick leg warmer things. He has a Ranger jersey. I just think he should be something he's into ya know? Lol

We've gone TorTing with our niece and nephews for years, before we had R, so now that's our tradition.
i was thinking of having R be a football player and having baby girl be a football, because it'd be cute and easy. I would just need to buy her a beanie and brown onesie. But part of me wants to let R be something he's into.
eta: we walk with the kids while they get candy, the adults DO NOT go TorT.
We are totally horrible and already got El a Princess Anna costume. It was super cheap and I can't not embrace the fact that Disney has already stolen my kid. So princesses it is!
I bought a 2T Spider-Man costume on clearance last year. We haven't tried it on yet but I think it will fit. It's the kind with the built-in muscles. Hehe

My mom let them pick out costumes when we went to Costco last week. P is going to be Minnie Mouse and D will be a Police Officer. We have a big family Halloween party so we'll dress up for that and then we'll take the kids trick or treating to a few houses. Last year they LOVED walking to each house.
I'm a little sad we aren't doing matching costumes with them this year. But I like that they get to be individuals too.

Ohhhhhhh I know it's coming. Years and years of fairies and princesses! So far she only has requested to watch Doc McStuffins by name. Little does she know that her Halloween selections will be limited to what they have at the consignment store

I have a caterpillar costume from when K was little (caterpillar bunting bag) that O will fit in to this year. And to go with that K will be a butterfly. She loves them, and it's a felt set of wings that can go on over any number of layers of dark clothing so it should be okay outside. We will probably go over to our friends' house (they have kids the same age as ours) and we may go to a house or two on their street but that's it. Funny how we have made friends with their neighbours but still don't know many of ours! In sure my H will test the candy to make sure it's safe. And by test I mean eat it all.

DD will go TOTing with DS plus a church thing. She will also have it at daycare. She I'll most likely be Minnie as she is obsessed. DS says he wants to be a knight but I'm waiting until he gets influenced by a new set of friends before I purchase anything.
The park near us usually does a big halloween thing so we will go there. He will probably get snacks or candy in school bc last hear they did a little trick or treat thing and had the parents bring in a treat for the kids. This year he will be in school by himself but im assuming they will do something treat related.
Has anyone ever gone to the sesame place halloween thing? We may go but not on halloween.

He could wear warm ups. And then a long sleeve shirt with a jersey over it.
I would like to do a family set, but have no idea what we'd do. B didn't really answer me when I asked what he wanted to be. He has a parade at BabyWork and we visit a few neighbors. We may go to the community Trunk or Treat event this year. We'll see. it's tough to plan for the weather. Sometimes it's still 70s and sometimes it's low 50s.
I'm pretty sure G is going to be a matador and Lo will be Ferdinand. It suits their personalities and they love the book. Plus I can make warm costumes. I almost always make costumes by hand for them.
Scratch that, I just asked the boys and they both demanded I make them both rocket ship costumes. G specifically asked to make to make his legs the flames and the point of the rocket on his head. So he's put some thought into it obviously.
It seems super weird that neither boy cares about super heroes. Lo originally said "batman!" When I asked but changed to space theme as soon as G did.
We have our Back to the Future costumes from the movie that was cancelled. We will design a cardboard Delorean car for the wagon and make DD the Doc Brown.
