sweetsurprise Top vote is for the blue dress with the green dress in second! The first black dress does show off your bewbs though I'm just not a fan of taffeta.
M still plops down hard from a standing to sitting position. Have any of your babies figured out how to slowly transition?
Mine is born at the end of September so he's a little older - he walks probably 50% of the time. His older brother walked early (took his first steps right before 10 months and was independently walking by 11 months) and A has been slightly ahead of big brother. Big brother took longer to talk than his peers so I'm sure that it will even out later on.
And I just realized this morning that he has likely outgrown his infant car seat - his head is around 2 inches from the top which is when they outgrow it - so I need to get a convertible for him. I'm sad that he is growing up so fast!

I really need to get a convertible seat as well. Does anyone have recommendations to ones they really like? We have a britax for the infant seat, and have considered that for the convertible as well. I would like something that can fit in a smaller vehicle.
I would love to have your help with dress options but I'm working. will you lads be around at like 6pm CT?
FFTC: I am nearly 30 and still can't figure out which time zone I'm in or how to figure out what this time would be where I am. When a TV show says 8/9 CT or whatever, I just binge watch TV until it comes on to avoid figuring it out.
Not much going on today. We have to go to the grocery store and then dd and I have a meeting with her primary teacher for daycare.
H leaves today for the rest of the week for work, so it's just me and dd. He hasn't been gone for work in a quiet. I'm not looking forward to the lack of help in the evenings.
Good luck. I hate the no help in mornings. Hopefully this week flies by quickly!
We just got the Britax Roundabout, based off Lucies List and Consumer Reports recommendations. It's supposed to be a good mix of high quality but not loads of features for $$$. Allegedly it fits well in small cars. We'll see tonight when we try to install it in my Honda Civic.
jellykat2, it really depends on the car that the seat will go into and how tall your LO is and whether you want to rear face them for an extended time period. The facebook group car seat for the littles is super useful - if you give them some details they will recommend seats for your specific situation.
In my case, I really wanted to keep my kids rear facing for as long as possible because it's just a lot safer than forward facing them. DS1 is almost three and is still rear facing in his convertible. For extended rear facing, the Diono seats and the Chicco Nextfit have the highest rear facing height limits. I picked the Nextfit because I liked the ease of installation and it actually fit in the backseat of my husband's Lexus facing backwards (he drives an IS which is a sports car with a tiny backseat). We went to Buy Buy Baby and were able to take the seats out of the store and try them out in his car. The Nextfit is super expensive but I was able to get it on sale at Target for around $200.

Guys, I'm in charge of putting together a fundraiser for work. It's my first ever fundraiser because I suck at people things. I'm terrified, nervous, but a bit excited. We're doing a pub trivia night fundraiser hosted by Geeks Who Drink. I have the logistics down, now I just have to help host and be prepared to mingle and beg for money.

I am here-ish. Work is drama. ANB is home sick -he's been cleared by the ped and going back to daycare tomorrow. I'm coming down with a cold. DH got pulled over yesterday. ANB took two steps last evening AND knows how to blow kisses now. It's friggin cute.

Blowing kisses is adorable. It might be the cutest thing K does.

DD threw a royal scream fit when I picked her up from daycare. She at refused to let go of daycare teacher so I had to just take her and she screamed bloody murder. It was awful it broke my heart. I accepted she does this with DH, but the daycare lady hurt my feelings a little. I mean I love that she obviously loves it there but still...I'll be over the drinking thread soon enough. Haha.

So we have a smart seat, which is now called the 4ever or something by graco. It's a beast, but let me tell you that SOB is safe as hell. The one I'd suggest is the evenflo platinum with the stay cool fabric from babies r us. I got the harness/booster seat from that line and I really like it.
So two things happened today. I discovered an app called "mama". It's like amazon on crack. You must download it now. But I cannot be held responsible for how much money you spend, especially if you have a daughter. Second, I decided to push the limits of my sanity by taking both kids to target and walmart. Still with a bum foot. Seriously guys, WTF is wrong with me?! It's like I want to be angry and have a shit day. I always think it'll be just fine and quick. It never is. Matthew left his sunglasses somewhere in Walmart, and I refused to go back and look for them. In Target, he screamed like I was beating him when I threatened to spank him if he didn't stop trying to grab everything off the shelf. I should have just used the drop in day care, but I didn't want to pay for it. Ahhhhhh

Let me know how it fits in the car. That's one of the seats I have looked at so far.

I do want to keep dd rear facing as soon as possible. I didn't know BBB would let you do that. We may treck out there to try some out. I wonder if BRU does the same thing?

A pub trivia night by Geeks who drink sounds super fun! Can I come!?

I'm sorry friend. Hugs. I'll drink with you tonight.
