We are moving into a rental house in 3 weeks and all the floors are wood. So I would buy area rugs for each room. I can't walk on hard floors all day.

And then I would spend the rest on stuff for baby girl: a few baby carriers, clothes! we also need a new video monitor.


That's all kind of boring stuff, I know if we really had $500 to spare, my H would book us a cruise.

There are so many good ideas here! I think I would hire a personal trainer so I could fit into my clothes.

I also need furniture for the kids rooms, running shoes and I've been wanting a brand name purse in a classic style that will hold up well.

bliz1712, I haven't received the cover yet but it essentially fits over the Tula like a tee shirt and it clips together. The woman I ordered from makes them reversible so for $50 you get two new looks. Cece drools like crazy and has already been chewing mine so I am hoping this will help to protect it a bit.

Same! We're going to need a ton of furniture when we move so it would be best to put it towards that fund. But if I had to spend it right now, I'd take myself to the nearby outlet mall and get myself some new clothes. I need some!

I pretty much told her what type of patterns I was interested in and that the canvas of my Tula was navy so I needed something that would match.  After that she sent me a few different options that I could go with.  I was almost going to go with the whales (that I did pick) and elephants on the other side until I thought it would be pretty cool to do Red Sox fabric instead.  I sent her my idea for that and she sent me what she could find and I went with it!

After seeing how nice laurski's came out I ordered from the same person. I had searched fabric.com for a coordinating fabric to my Tula, then when I messaged her I sent her the link and asked if it would work and she said yes. So you could try fabric.com too!

I'm actually gonna have this "dilemma" next paycheck from a company reward. DH recently got a pay cut so the smart thing would be to save it. My birthday is in a few weeks and I already bought my gift in advance (this tote I had been wanting for a while). I am tempted to buy some new clothes though, and maybe a nice dinner with DH.
