Hope you ladies are doing well, I'm exhausted all the time with 2 kids and 3 animals and a whiny DH to take care of. DS's daycare has lice so now I'm trying to sanitize everything in our house with hopes that he doesn't bring it home.

What time are your M14 babies going to bed these days? We used to be 7-730 pretty consistently but now she won't go down until 830-9. She's still sleeping until 730 so I'm not complaining but just curious
Definitely much later, about the same timing as you. We've actually been skipping nap altogether lately, which has been going pretty well - then she'll go to bed 12ish hours after she got up!
We used to be 7-7:30 too. Now we are more around 8-8:30. Is it weird I'm looking forward to days getting shorter so she can get to bed eariler? I'm hoping this works to reset bedtime to 7 pm.
7:30 or 8 but I really try to get her in bed by 7:30. I'm pretty sure she isn't asleep until 8 or 8:30 bc sometimes I hear her talking in there. So I'm assuming she just lays there until she falls asleep.

Ditto. Used to be 7-7:30, now it's between 8-9. Boo to that lol.

Yesterday was the first day in at least a week that she took a real nap 1230-230. And it made bedtime horrible. She was still super charged at 9 when I went to bed and left her with DH. I cannot get up at night with DD2 and stay up late with DD1

DD1 is going to be Strawberry Shortcake and Minnie Mouse. DD2 I'm thinking of trying to find the little sister from SS abs have her be that and also Minnie Mouse

DS is going to be a Police Officer and DD is going to be a lady bug. We don't do much though because the kids are still young (2.5 yrs and 3 months right now), plus it's my birthday so until the kids are old enough to start voicing their opinions DH prefers to celebrate my birthday if he's not working.

We got DD a cat costume. She loves cats and kittens. LO is only going to be a few days old probably, so I don't think we're dressing her up. I know we have a Halloween bib, and I think we have a Halloween shirt.
I think I'm putting L in one of DS1's old Halloween costumes. So either a bear or dog. DD is going to go as some sort of princess. She is really into them and she can use the costume as dress up for later. DS1 I have no idea what he wants to be. I know one thing though, I'm not spending $70 on a costume for him like I did last year. No way!
Talk to me about bedding. DD is in a daybed (crib convertible)using the same bedding from the crib. I am using a separate blanket, not the comforter that came with the crib set, because I can tuck in in on 3 sides to help her stay under the blanket.
The question is does anyone know where to buy a comforter set for a crib daybed that is more like a bed in a bag for twin beds? We are about to start the process of building a new house and her room in the current house is not big enough for a twin (it would take up the entire room)

I made the comforter that I use for E's crib/daubed.

I don't have any bedding advice as I was just starting to look into it myself this week. DD is still in her crib and has only her blankey in it with her. But it's not big enough to keep her covered all night. I'm nervous about getting anything much bigger, so it's been difficult to find exactly what I'm looking for. Last winter she was in a sleep sack, but I don't think she'll go for that this winter.

Personally, I think our kids are well past the danger of suffocation.

We are going out today to buy the big girl bed. I can't believe she's old enough that we are ditching the crib has aanyone just gone right to full size and skipped the toddler? That is our plan.

We haven't done it yet, but our plan is to go to a full sized twin bed.
Re: bedding, we'll be getting a full duvet for her, but will decide down the road if we'll just use a fitted sheet with her little crib blanket. I'm not sure she'll be able to get the hang of real bedding yet.

We went from crib to full size mattress on the floor at 21 months. She did great and we had no issues. I personally don't feel a toddler bed is necessary, especially if you already have a full size mattress.
DD sleeps on a full size mattress and has a fitted sheet, flat sheet, and quilt. zandeela have you tried home goods? I think I've need twin sized bed in a bags there.
We also went right to full size bed. It is on a lower frame with no box spring so that if he fell out he wouldn't fall that far. He only fell out 2 times, both not a big deal. We are actually going to add the box doing since he knows how to stay in bed. Like katka512, DS sleeps with a fitted, flat sheet and quilt and two flatter pillows. He's pretty good about staying under the covers and I always check on him before I go to bed to make sure he is covered.

You wouldn't wanna see DS' crib then. He's got a pillow, 3 blankets and like 10 stuffed animals. 😳
