I'm off work today and it's our last full day in NC. Dh is done with his class at noon so we're off to do something fun today. Yay! Off topic ... I'm pretty sure We shared our bed with a tiny drunk person last night. Lo HAD to be touching me when he slept. This meant he was either on my boob or was tap dancing on my back. He has flipped his lid whenever we've tried to put him in the crib this week and he goes NUTS if I get up to go pee. I'm not sure where this little monster came from or how in the world we are going to undo this damage when we get home. Forget that he has not adjusted to EST time. I need him back on PST to save our sanity.
Can't wait for the weekend!! The weekend usually means sleeping in while my husband takes Allison out for adventures in the morning. I think he is obsessed with yard sales and getting deals for her. I hung out with my mom yesterday and the trip for Allison's 1st birthday party is all set! We are going to Clearwater beach in Florida. Anyone been there? Tips? Tips with flying with a 1 year old???

jax1182014 - Have you flown with LO yet? I'm on our 2nd trip with our LO and so far no issues. But I still BF and we've flown red-eyes so he generally just nurses and sleeps. Tomorrow however we'll be flying home (Seattle) from NC during the middle of the day, so maybe I should answer your question after that flight.
I've been in denial and haven't talked about it, but. MY INLAWS LAND TODAY.
I will be the one N14 momma wishing the weekend goes in hyper speed. I'm desperately trying to come up with an out of the house activity for Sunday so we can stop just staring at each other. I'm also going to end up pretty wine drunk for self soothing reasons.
jax1182014, How does A feel about screen time? I've got a junky on my hands and would probaby queue up some sesame street videos to help plus snacks and more snacks.
ninergirl52, hope you enjoy your last day and your LO sobers up.

ninergirl52 - LOL to tap dancing on backs! Have fun today! Any big plans? jax1182014- That sounds awesome! We don't fly much if ever. 3 times. Once to NC, once to FL and once to Jamaica. pixie523 - Good luck, hope your weekend flies by and you don't have too many horror stories.

Today I woke up to DH singing along to Queen and making me breakfast in bed. French toast, fried egg and fresh fruit. I love this man! I was able to eat it all!
I am excited for the weekend. We are going to the fair courtesy of my work and DH'S work. They bought us double tickets. We are taking MIL because she doesn't really get to do things with Isaac outside of the occasional walk to the mall or bookstore. I want to get a caracature of me and DH. He proposed on the Ferris Wheel so we usually go on but I am nervous with all the accidents on other rides recently. Or at least on the news.

Now I'm worried that my baby is drunk all the time! You just described her to a T. The little monster.
pixie523 Denial is a pretty effective coping strategy. And wine- hey, it works too!! Take a walk outside, if nothing else, to break up the staring episodes. GL!!

Hi ladies! I missed u guys!! I'm on vacation with ds. We flew yesterday and he did pretty well, he was just his normal busy self. (I wanted to sleep on the plane, I hate being awake.) A few days ago ds busted his lip and ended up in ER but luckily he didn't need stitches or anything. It was healed basically the next day, even the swelling was gone. Seeing that blood was awful. His two new teeth hit his top lip. The only reason I wasn't a complete mess is because I finally got control of my PPD with meds. So I just went into mommy mode and fixed it instead of being a blubbering mess.
But now we're chillaxing on the beach with family. A much needed break. Hope you all have a great day!!

jax1182014 well idk about a 1yr old flying, but ds just needed to stay occupied with toys, iPad, and food. He talked a lot to passengers around us lol stood up a lot being nosey. I accidentally put him to sleep in the terminal so he woke up for the whole flight. I usually fly alone with him but I've always had super friendly ppl around me that help if I need it. Only thing I ran into was not being prepared (first flight with ds) and diaper changing mid flight.

+1 with ds. He's actually never really slept in his crib though AND he mostly naps on me... So I've created a real monster. My nipple is his pacifier too. He must always be touching me somehow and going to bathroom is a no no. I must hold my pee if I don't want to have a wide awake child for 2+ hours.

I've been catching up on everyone's responses.. A loves the iPhone so that's a good suggestion to have a bunch of videos. This will be our first time traveling so I don't really know what to expect. How do I change a diaper if needed? One of us will probably end up walking up and down the plane with her cuz she loves to move around. We will need a stroller for walking around but what about a car seat?
jax1182014 we are flying in a couple of weeks to two destinations so 4 flights total (I know wtf) I'll have better response after but I plan on getting A few new little toys that will only be out for the plane so they stay interesting to him. Pacing the aisle when I can and perhaps maybe letting him watch a video or two on my phone. But only if shit hits the fan lol.
In terms of diapers I have heard someone say to have a diaper on and then a pull-up over it. When they need the diaper change, pull the pull up down a little bit, undo the diaper, wipe, pull diaper out. Pullup back up and you're good to go
Props to you gals flying with your lo's, seems like it would be tough but being prepared probably helps the most!
Lo has barley slept the last 2 nights...I'm really hoping it's her teeth, that means it will end. Last night I brought her to bed with me and she was super restless...we were up for an hour and a half! Boo teeth!!
I have a question. About seven people have complained of abnormal levels of fatigue this week (including me). Is it just my circle, or is there something lunar and you all are feeling it too?
zengal it's got to be lunar because with my iud my cycle doesn't exist. I almost googled iud failure because it's so first tri level. Here's hoping that's not the case. Fake fetus would have fetal alcohol syndrome for sure.
Hope you all are ready for drunk posting all weekend!
Definitely exhausted over here. Both H and I have been zombies. Liam has been sleeping crappy but not awful. I have AF though and am always a bit slower and tired during that
