I'm getting my car oil changed now then my friend and I are off the the orchard with our girls. DH has BIL's wedding rehearsal tonight at 7 and its and hour and half away so dd and I are staying home tonight and meeting him out there in the morning with my mom.
ajh1230, are you getting the cider donuts? I wanted to stop out there today, thought I was going to have to stay overnight for work yesterday but ended up coming home. Sooo no donuts for me today! Have fun!
I am working from home a little today and then spending the day with DD. She was up at 5AM, yay.
It is BILs birthday tonight so we are going to this awesome Italian restaurant which is so perfect because I have been craving pasta hard core! This also means wine BIL also invited us to the Packer game tomorrow and I really want to go, but it will be the third Saturday in a row of MIL having DD overnight! I am hoping she says yes :/

Oh boo for no donuts. I'll have one for you let me know if your ever staying in this area for work I'm just outside the city I'm guessing your office is in.
My kid was a hot mess last night before bed. She wouldn't stop crying. I thought maybe teeth so I gave her ibuprofen which didn't seem to help at all. Finally I gave her Tylenol too and she fell asleep snuggling her lullaby giraffe in my arms. She never falls asleep snuggling anything. Then she STTN. Which she's only ever done a handful of times. Almost 13 hours straight. It was glorious.
Lazy day here. I have to go get a gift for friends bridal shower that's tomorrow. They seriously registered for four items. FOUR. So looks like It will be wine and a gift card.
ajh1230 - the orchard sounds fun! That's something I want to try and do with dd this fall. Have a good time!
The orchard sounds fun but what I'm really looking forward to this fall is taking DD to the pumpkin patch. I insisted on going early last year because I was super pregnant but I didn't want to miss going. It was so uncomfortable, I literally almost rolled off the hayride. I'm really looking forward to taking DD and having a better experience this year.

Oh we're definitely doing this too! There is a little festival at a park not to far from us that I want to go to.

Hey for those of you who already have kids in daycare, what types of food are you sending with them for lunch?
When I take K to the hourly she eats off their menu. Is that an option?
I would also ask about if you are allowed to bring things with nuts like peanut butter. Will they microwave? You could send dinner leftovers if they do.

I'm so lazy so I buy 10 bottles organic baby food, rice cereal, puffs and some pouches and bring it all in on Monday for DS to have for the week. Some of the other super moms bring cut up leftovers or cook special meals. Not me. But I'm a good cuddler!

Wish that was an option but they only serve breakfast, I have to provide lunch myself. It's making me realize that, once again, my kid doesn't have enough variety in her diet. They do provide formula (and eventually milk) oatmeal and snacks like puffs but that's it.

I'm trying to find some middle ground here. They already have puffs and cereal there and I will definitely send pouches but I feel like she needs something else. I don't want to send anything messy or anything that needs heated so I'm just not sure. I looked for ideas on Pinterest but that was more intimidating than helpful!

I think everything is messy.
K loves cheese. Cold pasta salad or a cold black bean salad? Sandwiches?
