Are you buying cloth diapers? Are they for baby or your current LO? I don't do cloth but those fluffy butts are adorable
Cloth, yeah, and I suppose they'll end up sharing them since I highly doubt Gremlin will be potty trained by 25 months! My stash is on the small side for one kid, so I'll need a few more anyway.
I'm not a cloth diaper user, but I had a hard time today at Target passing up the tiny and adorable newborn section on my way to buy boring old toddler sized pajamas.

I'm planning to cloth diaper. I have a feeling that buying them is going to become an addiction. They are so cute!!

Yeah, it's pretty hard to resist. I have to set hard limits - I have six more OS diapers I can buy for this new baby, and then maybe a few more NBs.
teraiin, maybe a fruit pizza or angel food cake with strawberries on top?
I'm gonna emote for a second over here. I'm so paranoid over my lack of symptoms. With DS I didn't have any symptoms until about 7 weeks or so, and with my last pregnancy I had them and then they just went away. That is why I am anxious over here. I know it is completely normal but I can't help but be paranoid. Gah! I hate it!
And moving on.....
We are going to the wedding of a good friend of mine tonight. I suppose you could have called her my 'work wife' back when I was working. Saturday we are hosting a draft at our house for our neighborhood friends and then doing dinner club that night. Sunday DH's family is coming over and we will tell them the news and finally on Monday we are having lunch with my parents and sharing with them. I love busy weekends!
Since we have the long weekend I want to make the most of "the last weekend of summer". We do have a wedding tomorrow night, and my mom is coming to watch DS, so I don't have to chase him around! Sunday we'll probably have a BBQ with the in-laws and Monday maybe some hiking or possibly convince DH to go the beach or lake.
teraiin, my favorite "healthy" dessert is berries and fresh whipped cream with a little bit of sugar in it.
This weekend will be busy.. we're headed to the kiddie amusement park tomorrow, a BBQ on Sunday, and hosting a BBQ on Monday. I'm pretty sure there's a good possibility of me getting called out at either BBQ, since both will be with people who know I rarely pass up an adult beverage. Hoping to get a long run in on Sunday or Monday with the whole family.

My favorite "healthy" dessert is to take a bunch of fruit, dice it, simmer it with some OJ for a while until it thickens. Tear up a bunch of angelfood cake, layer the cake and the fruit mix in a large bowl, pressing down to make sure the cake is soaked. Best if you let it sit overnight.
No real weekend plans for me we WERE planning to move this weekend, but closing on our house keeps getting pushed back one day at a time....... We will probably try and come up with some way to get out and enjoy the weather. hmmm decisions decisions..
Our weekend plans are to stay indoors. We're expecting highs in the upper 90s and I hate taking J out in that kind of weather. We do have an indoor playdate scheduled for Sunday afternoon. We might also make a trip to Sam's Club because we are old and boring and like buying 100 oz of ketchup at one time.

I have my nephews birthday dinner tomorrow evening and my cousins housewarming party Sunday. I guess shopping for presents is on the Saturday agenda. Oh, and I promised my cousin I'd bake something. Right now I'm thinking mini-carrot cake sandwich cookies with cream cheese frosting in the middle of course.
DH has to work Saturday and Sunday. He's trying to work something out for half day Monday, but that still blows. We also have 90 degree weather but I might try to get my LO to the park Sunday morning.

Hope everyone enjoys their long weekend - sounds like y'all have some fun plans. We have a visitor in town and we're also hosting a fantasy draft party Sunday afternoon. We are going to try stand-up paddleboarding for the first time on Monday and I'm really excited!
teraiin I think your fruit with cream idea is great. Yeah, definitely bring something cakey/muffiny in case people want their fruit as a topping!

Deep breaths! I know these first few weeks are killer when we grasp at any reassurance or worry because we don't have anything else to go on! Let's hope the time flies by until that first appointment. Hugs!
Thanks for all the dessert suggestions last night. It went well!
All that's on tap for today are chores (ew) and relaxation (yay). Overall I feel a lot less tired than yesterday (but still tired) and I think it's because I slept from about 9:30PM-8:00AM. LOL!
Is anyone doing anything fun for Labor Day? We might go to my in-laws for a cookout but we're not sure yet.

I hardly have any symptoms yet either. Boobs are a little sore, I'm a tad more tired than normal, and peeing a bit more. I'm 6 weeks tomorrow and actually hoping m/s hits me this week lol. I think it's totally normal. Hopefully we can both relax.
You're weekend is busy with fun things; enjoy it!!

I'm a pure barre instructor and am taking 2 classes today for girls who are in training. Gonna be sore! The rest of the day will just be lazy with some chores thrown in.
Tomorrow we are going to swim and cookout at a friend's house. Luckily they know I'm pregnant so won't have to fake drink!
DS woke up this morning at 6:40am soaking wet(pee) and with an extra poopy diaper. By the time I was done changing him and putting him back to bed I was wide awake. Now (2 hours later) my eyeballs feel droopy and tired. I'm going to power through and get my run in.
Today the in-laws come over and we are going to tell them the news with a big brother shirt on DS. He will be napping when they get here, so when he wakes up I will put him into the shirt and then bring him down and wait until they notice.
I'm beginning to regret how many activities I volunteered for this year. Had I known I'd get pregnant I probably would have been a bit more conservative. LOL
I have about an hour until MH gets home and I'm thinking of spending at least half of that sleeping. I didn't get to sleep in this morning and I'm wiped. This is making me nervous for when the work week starts up again. If I'm this tired relaxing at home how will I handle work?
DH and I have been going to bed really late, and now that I'm pregnant I am just really wiped. DS woke up "early" around 6:45, and I was beyond exhausted. So I left DH and DS watching t.v. and took a 2 1/2 hour nap until 10:30. Then woke up to a cranky boy, so I put him down for his nap. I literally haven't done anything productive today.
But I did wake up to a fully painted hallway. Which was the last "room" in the house to be painted! Oh and I had a cookie for breakfast.
teraiin, I was against the sleep tracking for a long time. I hate seeing how badly I sleep on a good day, but at least now DH is much more understanding when I say I'm tired or I slept like shit. I made home wear it a few nights to prove it was a problem with me and not the device.
