I laid Lillian down after 3:30 feeding and started to pump. Of course she woke up and fussed. After a few minutes I asked my husband to pick her up and burp her. He never wants to hold her upright. He thinks he can burp her by laying her on his chest and rubbing her back. Sometimes he tries but can be clueless. It's frustrating..
Lillian has her 1 month check-up today! I'm excited to see how it goes!!
Today is my son's bris. (Jewish ritual circumcision). Given the snow, half the family that was coming in cancelled. I just hope the moel (person who performs it) can get here okay.
Hope the pictures go well luckypenny! I love sibling pictures
I want to get Rory's birth announcements ordered today but H and I can't agree on the photos to use. I have a shutterfly coupon for 40 free announcements that expire on the 31st so we need to get them done.
I planned to have someone come over to visit today. We made the arrangements last week. I'd much rather take a nap but it's too late to back out now.

E is cluster feeding too. He's also been wide ass awake since 3:30. Not crying or fussy, just wide awake.
Also, I'm glad that I'm producing a decent amount of milk but I wish it wasn't quite much. They get so full and sore between feedings and it's impossible to pump when E is awake.
Guys I'm kind of sad that I woke up this morning still pregnant. I'm really ready now to meet my little guy. Ticker says 3 more days. I know there are still some girls who are over due and I shouldn't whine. Hope all you girls in the north are staying warm and safe!

B is just an eating machine. I am exhausted. I had a glass of wine last night after feeding and pumping him and as soon as I got half way through he decided he was hungry again so I fed him my pumped milk and he was up in 20 minutes after laying him down again! So I laid down with him just trying to get him content for 10 minutes until I could feed him and fell asleep. Woke up at 4:30 with him sleeping next to me and engorged boobs. So I'm pumping enjoying my coffee and wishing I could go back to sleep.
H and I are having Super Bowl at our house and I'm kicking myself for giving him that idea because of how cranky L is being lately and I have no idea why. It could be just the gas but don't know for sure. But I'm excited to use Pinterest for ideas for food and decorations!
It's our daily mommy and wigglet cuddle time. FI took care of him last night so I could sleep since I felt crappy like I was coming down with a cold. Feeling much better today. He was a little piglet for each feeding though-- 3-4 oz each time, about 4 hours apart. Yikes!

"Normal" sleep last night; Emily only woke up every three hours to nurse. With my two hour nap yesterday afternoon, plus a decent night's sleep, and a shower this morning, I feel pretty close to human! Maybe a decent day to tackle chores (or at least get some laundry done).
I finally got engorged boobs! I know it's not the most pleasant thing, but at 13 days PP my boobs were hardly ever feeling full, but they finally did last night. It makes me hopeful that I'll start making more milk.
DS2 is such a sweet baby.
Good luck to everyone having babies today and people who are getting bad weather.

Morning everyone! Baby is going to be a football player the way he's been eating lately. I pumped 3oz for DH to take one of the night shifts. Well that didn't satisfy him at all so I had to take over anyways.
DH stayed up after the 3:30 feeding and went to work somewhat early at 7:30 (he usually leaves at 8:30) so he'll get home a little earlier.
Trying to change my avatar, but all of my pictures are too big. Even the ones from my phone camera. Sorry, you ladies are going to have to look at the Mr clean pic until I figure out how to resize a pic.

It actually snowed here and is still snowing! We were expecting an inch tops and it's so pretty. Also DH is home because of it hope everyone up north is staying warm.
Hubby stayed up till midnight and then fed the baby a bottle, I went to bed at 8:45 so I got three hours, then J slept 3 hours and then 4!! I actually feel pretty good! I would love for this to start being more of the norm!
My mom is taking care of Xander today since I am at the hospital for my surgery. He is going through his 3 week growth spurt so I really hope things go well. I'm nervous about both!
We swaddled R's arms down at his sides last night so he literally could not get them out (we are mean) but it totally worked! Granted he did frantically try to get them out and scream a couple times but as soon as I gave his soother back he would go back to sleep! I left him in the swaddle to feed him everytime and then he would go back to sleep and part of the night was in his own bed! SUCCESS!!!! I also got at least one 4-hour stretch! We did this with DS1 for four months so I'm not sure why we waited so long to try with R, but we will be continuing this from now on!

Have a good day everyone
Good luck today! I'm sure everything will be a-ok!
Not too much snow last night....which is ok with me. Husband is home today because he has a job interview this afternoon...I hope he gets it because he is really underappreciated at his current job and they require waaaay too many hours in the summer time (like 10-12 hour days 6 days a week).

My boyfriends mom was in a car accident last night so with being up late at the hospital last night, his sister in law asked if I would babysit his nephew today cause he didn't sleep well..well now he's puking and I'm nervous. 40+2 days and I cannot get the flu. Ugh let's hope it's just nerves.
Good luck papapalie! I'm sure you will be glad when all of this is behind you!
I missed what went down on TB. I saw the notice about paid moderators and all that, but what actually happened? I kind of had a baby in the NICU around when everything went down...
