I live at the Jersey Shore. We were supposed to get about 2ft (or rather anywhere from 18-24in). While we didn't get what they predicted, we still got around 10 inches. Enough for me to decide not to go into work. Stay safe to those who still have snow coming down!
I'm in southern RI and we have somewhere over a foot and it's still snowing. We were told 12-18 inches so it looks like they were right. I posted this on the other thread but this was at 630 trying to let the dog out. I finally had to dig a path at 9 for her to go out and do her business. www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsyfQLa1lZ4

Northern New Jersey here. We were supposed to get 18 to 24 inches. We got like three.I don't mind because both our work was canceled so we're just enjoying a snow day without any actual snow danger.
Random question...where do you put all of that snow? It's not like you can pile it all up on the street corner (like we do here)
The struggle is real. In the country you just pile it up on the side of the road and in your yard. In the city they usually have to dump truck it elsewhere. I think sometimes that elsewhere is the ocean

I've spent every summer at my life on the jersey shore! We always stay in Lavallette or Ortley beach

Nothing but a light dusting of snow here in Ontario. They were never calling for as much as you guys, but I think we were supposed to get more than we did. I hope you all stay safe and warm!

I am in NY city. We were supposed to get 12 to 24".....we got almost 11". It wasnt too bad here. Everyone was freaking out about the impending storm. I knew it was going to be fine. It was snow coming from the sky not lava or acid. I knew that poor Mass was going to get it worse than us.
