With DD1, I pumped with a PISA or other double electric 4-5 times a day. Now, I am pumping with my manual in the morning (one side while nursing the other, so much easier to do this with the manual than the PISA, though I did it with the PISA for 10 months with dd1) and for my first pump of the day at work, then using the double electric at lunch, then using the manual in the afternoon (sometimes I'll do two pumps with the PISA).
The manual is faster to remove the first letdown worth of milk for me, but I can't get a second letdown using it, so the total amount I get is less.
