kfaye I have 1 mock up done. Trust me I'm not real far ahead. I figure since my entire side is out of state I should mail them our 4 weeks in advance so they can figure out travel arrangements and if they can get here.
It also helps that my dad brought all the paper down this weekend from the print shop so I had to play with it since it was staring me in the face.
It is so much cooler today and I really want to go for a walk but we have to put the house back together. DH hung the last wall cabinet today so we can now put the Tupperware away and have counter space again.
I have a very crabby baby who has two teeth coming in and a very runny nose. Made for a difficult day poor thing. However I got to get a pedicure today and I made two quiches and peach cobbler for the week! H was in charge of watching baby
Oh man this is no good, lo fell asleep at about 5 which is way too early. I thought maybe she would just take a quick nap but has been out for over an hour. She gets pissed if I wake her up so may just need to deal with it

My app is glitchy too this is my 3rd attempt at posting today :-(
We had a nice weekend up north (in Michigan) even though it was chilly the race wasn't bad, lo did really well for the 6.5 hours it took H to finish the Half-ironman, it was 40 minutes longer than planned and all 40 extra minutes were on the second lap of the run which had me really concerned. Turn out he hurt his knee around mile 8 and limped/ran the last 5 miles. He came in and carried lo across the finish line. His knee is preemptive sore and swollen so off to the doctor in the morning, he was pretty bummed because he was on track to win his age group until his knee issue
We stopped on the way home to do some more furniture shopping and it is so frustrating because all he ever says is "it's fine" when I ask if he likes something or complains about the cost (we can afford it he is just cheap), when I ask him what he likes he says beN bag chairs and handle downs. This is our long-term if not forever home and I would like to have it nicely decorated. I'm going to give up asking him to go and just ask a friend to go shopping with me instead.
The next two weeks are going to be super busy with a lot of travel so I maybe MIA a bit more than normal:-(

Spikesmom - DH & I dread furniture shopping but where we found our happy medium was on couches from lazy boy. They are comfy, yet nice. You may just have to make the decision!
Bummer about your Hs knee spikesmom. Also I hate doing any shopping with H. He will always talk me out of something I love and we compromise on something and then I hate it forever.
We just did a bit of CIO and I want to cry. He needed to sleep and just. Wouldn't. It was literally three minutes and he's been asleep for a good 15 and I am still feeling awful :-(.
He usually is so easy to put down to sleep. I firmly believe there is always a reason why he wouldn't go down but I got him 3 times out of his crib. Checked him out, he's clean, fresh diaper, full and I gave him some Motrin before I put him down because I know he was in pain earlier. :-(
Honesty, I do things 100% my way, especially lately. It's just been me and him for the last three weeks give or take a day. H wanted to just let him cry. so we did it.
What did he say? "He has to learn to go down" umm how many nights have you been home?! He goes down after bath, book, and bottle super easy 90% of the time. I'm glad he is asleep but I'm angry at myself and H for doing cio

Ugh at Jjh my DH has said the same thing before. I finally got him to change his mind when I presented with him options which I researched. If you asked me at 4 am this morning though, I may have let Lo cio. Either way you are a GREAT mommy and do an amazing job!!!
Thanks ninergirl. Definitely felt the guilt for a while. He slept well last night though, waking at 12:30 for a bottle and again at 6 am. He stayed in bed with us until he woke up at 8:30!
