It looks like swallowed blood. Did she have any nose bleeds? She looks super happy, so I wouldn't worry too much...easier said than done. But hope you can see her pedi soon & get reassurance.

Also thinking blood of some sort and totally understand your freaking out. Fx it's nothing -- she does seem happy which is a good sign. Let us know when you know.

Sorry for not updating. I've been on the phone constantly. Ugh. Diapers are now black and gritty and she continues to spit up black. We are going to the ped again this afternoon for a full panel blood test.
We don't think it's my nipples. I haven't seen any blood in my milk and I pump enough that I see what's coming out at least 2 times a day. I also pumped after I saw the bloody spit up to see if I was bleeding at all.
