Oh my gosh, I just saw this and wanted to add my positive thoughts for your LO. I hope they quickly figure out what's going, she's comfortable and it quickly resolves!
Didn't you just drop dairy? Hopefully that's it, and it'll work out of your system really soon!
I'm so glad it's nothing more serious - annoying and scary is still preferable to serious and scary!
I stopped eating dairy last Friday. So it's still in our systems. I'm really hoping that that is what affected her but I have a bad feeling it's something else. I'm going to give it another week of no dairy and then I'll take something else out if her spit up and stool are still bloody.
yelah250, are they doing any sort of allergy testing or just having you do an elimination diet?
I'm glad her blood panel came back ok. Food allergies are no fun, but at least there's an answer. GL!
They can do a blood allergy test. The vial of blood they need is pretty big, though, and I hate to do that to her so young. They took a vial yesterday for the blood panel and she's been sleeping all day today - she really shuts down when she's had something traumatic happen to her. right now we are going to keep dairy out and I'll eliminate soy next if things don't improve within a week. We will eventually do the allergy testing if I can't figure it out, but I want to wait til shes older.

yelah250 I'm glad it's allergies and nothing more serious. Hoping that you are able to find out what the allergy is easily and quickly, and without the blood tests for little ones sake.
Glad the test came back normal! Hopefully eliminating dairy will do the trick. I don't blame you for not wanting the do the allergy testing. It's so sad watching blood being taken from a baby.
