I cannot even believe that I get to write one of these. #ISTHISREALLIFE
Month/Cycle: 13/3 that actually counted
CD/DPO: 34/16
What we did: Metformin, Femara, Ovidrel, IUI, Clomid for MH. We did pretty much everything except for actual sex. Our RE informed us this past cycle that sex wouldn’t work for us anymore, and pushed us to do the IUI. I AM SO GLAD WE DID.
EDD: May 29, 2016
Symptoms: I’ve been cramping a lot this week.
How I Told MH: So I woke up at 5:30 on Saturday morning and decided to test since I was 13dpiui. I got a BFP almost right away on the FRER, so I FREAKED OUT. I drove to Walmart, got a digital, dipped it in my cup of pee (#dontjudgeme), and got a positive on that too. Then I started crying, exhausted myself crying, and fell back asleep. I woke up a couple hours later and my husband had slept through it ALL. I set up a onesie that I had drunkenly bought one night many moons ago…it says “worth the wait”. I put a sign that said “Congrats Daddy!” with the onesie and the two BFPs. He just stared at it, and kept asking me if I was sure. I just kept nodding and he was like ARE YOU SURE?! The RE said to wait until 14 days and it’s only been 13 days!!!!!!!!!11!! It took a long talk about how difficult it is to turn a digital, the reliability of FRERs, and looking at the DPO chart. Finally he got it. Then he was just in shock. I think we both were. He told me he didn’t expect this after all we had gone through. We agreed to wait until my betas came in, because we just couldn’t believe it. Betas on Monday came in at 310, so I am officially pregnant!!!!!
The Mushy Stuff: Okay. I lurve you guise. So hard. I started lurking TD back when I was used to going through 100+ day cycles, completely clueless to the wonders of Provera and had no idea what PCOS even was. WTDS taught me so much about PCOS and my cycles. This whole board was here for me when we got the PCOS and MFI diagnosis, supported me throughout my crazy anovulatory cycles, calmed my fears, voted me most loved, embraced my hashtags and love of all things Adam and 1D, and drank with me on the bad days. But most importantly - you guise made me laugh on the days I just wanted to cry. I seriously did not think that joining an online forum would provide me with some pretty wonderful friends in real life, who will be my friends for a long time. Because of you and this site, I sought out answers from doctors that I’d had for 10 years. I cannot thank you enough for that. I could not have gotten through this year without the support of my friends here. Seriously.
Please to keep the hashtags flowing over here. I will constantly be lurking and handing out tits. #youguisearethebest #sappymushypost #WEMADEABABY
