Yay for only 3 wake ups Jax I hope today goes well for naps! I'm still awake 4-5 times with lo but we cosleep so it's not so bad, I would miss his snuggles since he is constantly on the go when he is awake. I only see him for an hour or two during the day because of my crazy work schedule so I cherish cosleeping with him even though I sometimes miss sleeping independently or on my stomach!
Work is insane and I think about taking a demotion daily because I miss my baby. I won't but I can dream. Lo is doing well at the new daycare thankfully and it is much easier on me now. He did get his first fat lip there yesterday trying to stand without holding on, he fell forward and hit his lip on a shelf.

Thanks spikesmom! We were co sleeping too but I was unhappy with it. Happy to hear your LO's daycare is working better for you guys. Good for him for trying to stand up on his own though! My LO does that too, unsuccessful though lol..
It's hard, this mom thing. I will only get to see baby for a few minutes before it's bedtime tonight. Like spikesmom, that's why I don't mind the cosleeping too much. But oh, to be carefree with my arms in my sleep!!! Ha. I'm looking to have a good day, though I can think of a hundred other things I'd rather be doing than working. Pixie, hope your dinner is painless!
Second flight of the week and Liam did amazing. He just slept from the moment we got on the plane till we landed and had to get off.
I stay at home with Liam and I totally understand the cosleeping , especially for workin mamas.
We don't, but he occasionally spends some time with us. We cosleep the first half of the week but I just can't sleep with him. He moves so much. The biggest problem is he tries to shove his head under our pillows which makes me worry. In his crib he is free to flip around as much as he wants.
Good for you for sticking with the crib Jax! we were doing well with it but lo has been teething badly this week so we have been co sleeping so I can get some sleep.
Spikesmom I also am up around 4-5times a night. She's going all the time when she's awake too so I do love snuggles when I can get them!
Pixie hope your dinner goes fast tonight!
Zengal I'm with you on wanting to do just about anything else but work today!
Jjh glad the flight went well little Liam is a flying champ!
Good lord having a mobile lo is exausting. We haven't really baby proofed the house yet and definitely need to do some this weekend....she always goes right for things she's not supposed to have!

Morning nap went great but afternoon nap was a disaster. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong? She almost fell asleep twice then bam! Awake ready to play.
Jax we have definitely had that problem before, thankfully it didn't last long so maybe it was a growth spurt or teeth or something. One thing that helped us was having a "routine" for naps. I say that loosely because all we do it lay down quietly and nurse but it seems to trigger her to sleep.
Do u have a carrier?? When lo is fighting naps sometimes wearing her around helps to calm her a bit. Sorry u are having this problem, mom's need babies to nap! I'm sure you are not doing anything wrong, babies are so unpredictable!

jjh1119 When you fly are you holding him in your lap or using a carseat? We'll be flying in a couple months (a long flight) and got LO a seat so we'll be using her carseat. I'm just curious about how it worked logistically with carrying it through the airport among all the other crap you have to carry around.
I definitely understand the cosleeping thing, for wanting extra snuggles when you can't see your LO very often. My LO has never slept in our bed though, because apparently for her being in Mommy and Daddy's bed is party time. The blankets and pillows and people are WAY too exciting.
Today was LO's 9 month appointment (Yes, I know, she just turned 10 months, but we changed insurance companies and doctors, so we had to wait till they had an opening). She's 21 pounds and 28 inches! I was mainly interested in finding out these stats to know if I could still use our infant car seat, which we can. Yay!

I think falls are happening more frequently now. pixie523 - I hope it goes by fast and isn't too painful. zengal - it is somedays. Always the mommy guilt. jjh1119- yay Liam!!! kfaye - yes to not having everything baby proofed. We need to get on that too lol nerdalert - that is an awesome carseat! We had to switch 4 months ago because of the height.

I love our library. They now have these discovery boxes with certain subjects for kids 0-6. I grabbed the bugs one and Isaac is loving it. They have 5 books, a wooden puzzle, a game and pictures It's funny because the week before, I made a discovery box of kitchen items from the dollar store.
nerdalert I drop kicked lo once. That sounds extreme but she was crawling and I moved my foot to put on my shoe and some how my foot connected with her cheek? There where tears and many apologies.
I don't even know what happened today but putting her sweatshirt on she got popped with either her arm or my arm. More tears and apologies, but girl. Help your mom help youuuuu
