I'm feeling a lot more positive today. I finally slept at my house instead of my parents house and I got to see Allison's progress. A week ago I would have never thought we would be this far.
Max is having a rough couple of sleep days and I think it's because he misses me (super clingy and screams when I try to unlatch him at night). I don't mind the extra snuggles because I miss him too.
Headed to work with my Dad and Max in tow. I have a meeting but then I am taking the afternoon off and we are going to visit some family across the state for the night. Wish me luck on the drive because Max is not a carseat fan. I'm excited for some much needed family time (minus my H who is helping his parents with a project this weekend that isn't conducive to having a LO around so we are missing daddy).
I will be working on the drive but am taking the weekend off. I need it for my own sanity
That's great news Jax! I hope this progress gives you confidence and some tension release. Spikesmom, enjoy your weekend!! No working allowed. I'm so happy it's Friday, as usual. It's a short day of work, and then baby and I are running around town to do some errands and just hang out together. Happy day, ladies!!

We have a sick little one on our hands. He had a slight fever last night and has been resting up today. Hoping he is better soon. We have 3 birthday parties this weekend. I baked mini apple pies and they are not very pretty but they taste amazing. I am seriously craving some pizza.
songbirdsinging55, oh no! It's so hard when our LOs are sick, I hope he feels better soon!
DD is going through a stretch of not sleeping well at night. Every little noise seems to wake her up, and she won't go back to sleep without nursing a lot of the time. Hopefully this is just a short phase.
Jax I'm so glad the sleep is getting better for you! It's amazing how much better you feel with just a few more hours.
Spikesmom good luck with the drive and I hope you are able to get some good time in with max today! You take the weekend off ,I insist
Zengal I love short days at work and hanging with lo, hope you guys have a good day
Songbirdsinging hope your lo feels better! That's the worst. Hopefully he's feeling better by the time you guys go to the parties this weekend. Oh and can I have one of your mini apple pies?
Kaimee27 my lo goes thru times like that too where she sleeps even worse than normal, hopefully it passes soon!

Thanks to everyone for all your words of encouragement and support this last week. It has been a very challenging time for me and basically everyone around me I think I have finally figured out nap time and night time sleeping is getting better. It's finally day 9 and I can't believe how far we have come. I'm getting regrets not doing this sooner :/

We are going "home" to my family today after work. I was not focused most of the day. I'm excited to see my family. My cousin is having a 10 year anniversary party because her and her H did a JOP while she was pregnant with number 2. His family going to be interesting (lived off the system for generations while being perpetually unemployed). The party is only happening because his mom married into money and is paying. The invite mentioned the open bar twice.
Kaimee - that's crazy that even little noises are waking her up. I don't know what I'd do. This morning, the dog went and barked in our room while baby was sleeping. I thought for sure that was it and she'd be up for the day, but nope. She was still snoozing after all that!
Kfaye that video was so funny!
Msnicole I snickered at mentioning the open bar twice. Have fun with your visit!
So while we were running errands, baby got called HE twice! She got her other outfit wet, and the onesie that I had in the diaper bag was heather grey, so I get it, but
AW: she is officially pulling up on everything. And the sitter said she has been signing. What I've been teaching her is working! So many thoughts and feelings with every milestone!

Zengal I hate when DD gets called a boy at this point. It was almost enough for me to put the gigantic bows on her head so there is no confusion. However this week I discovered she has enough hair to pull up and put a bow on it.

zengal People have called my LO a boy a couple of times too. Now I always have a bow in her hair because her bangs are crazy long and they have to be pinned back.
Can I AW real quick? I have lost 10 pounds in the last 7 weeks! Only 10 more to go to be at my pre-pregnancy weight!! Old clothes are starting to fit and I am so excited!
Zengal, people call my lo a boy when she's wearing anything that's not pink too! How cool she's pulling herself up!
Msn that is adorable, I may need to try the pony on my lo. Her hair might just be a bit short still tho
Nerdalert way to go on the weight loss! I've been working hard and only lost a pound. What have u been doing?? I keep telling myself I'll loose the last 10-15lbs when I stop nursing ; )

Made to my parents in six hours which isn't bad for a Friday night. DD slept most of the way home which means she doesn't want to sleep now. She's not tired and we both are. She's walking around and screams if you try to lay her down. It's going to be a long night of she doesn't crash again soon.
-Shape brand workout videos 30-90 minutes each day 5x/week (I put LO on the floor with toys in front of me and she literally just plays or watches me the whole time. I realize I am very blessed lol.) -Go for walks (not sure how far, maybe a mile or two each time) 3-5x/week -Stopped drinking pop altogether, and I'm eating almost no fast food either. Other than that, my diet hasn't changed much, but I wasn't really doing too bad in that department in the first place.
Side note: I am breastfeeding too, and I was a little worried about supply dropping since I started working out so much, but I have had no issues. I just started slow (no more than 30 mins/day for the first couple weeks) and counted diapers/watched LO to make sure she was still acting happy.
