@klongoria I'm cracking up at your definition of "super small"! My firm has 3 attorneys, with a total staff of 7. I think yours sounds large. I see your problem, is there anyone there that you trust for a reference and discretion? Maybe if you interview around you might find a firm that can match your pay if you move before your title changes?
Thanks guys! I'm back at work, baby is fine and they predict I'm going to have a nasty bruise. Not that anyone will see it in this tundra!
rebeccag428 that wouldn't fly with me either, but for me at least, that falls into the category of deal with it in the moment or hold your peace. But be aware next time so that it doesn't happen again.
Yeah you're right. It just happened so fast and then I didn't want to be rude because they're always so sweet to Autumn. When I got in the car I had to ask DH "did she just take my baby?" I was up all night thinking about it. Thank you, I won't call but next time I see her reaching for Autumn, I will stop her.
mishkaroni hope it's not serious, besides the cough is she acting normal? @mx2 poor guy. Get better soon little man kfran84 what about changing diaper brands during the in between stage?
rebeccag428 Dude, I just don't know. I could try that. By day I have him in Earth's Best diapers, sz 3, and love them. Never had a leak or blow out or anything. By night, I have him in Pampers Baby Dry, sz 3 and 4. The overnights are what I've been having blowouts in for the past 4 days. It seems like the 3's can't hold everything in (leaking up the back) and the 4's are too big on his legs, so poop leaks out the bottom. He is 22-23lbs so he's right in between and very slim.
He is taking heinously large dumps though. I'm not sure any diaper could withstand their force. I'll try our Earth's Best on him overnight tonight and pray for the best.

So DC just called.. Isaac fell off some steps and hit the tile face first.
They are keeping him awake and not letting him take a nap.. They are going to send me a picture of his bruise. I want to go look but if I stop by then leave he will be more distraught.

I've only scrolled through this thread but untaggablekatie I really hope Issac is okay! Poor little man!!
Also I'm stuck on the fact that many of you are still using sizes 2 and 3 diapers. We've been in a 5 for months. Although we could probably still get away with a 4.
I am working in our NJ office today for a meeting at 1. I'm hoping after the meeting my manager will tell me to leave since it's about and hour and 45 min to my house from here. Speaking of, I should probaby get off PB so people coming in for the meeting don't see.
JoeLies It is a phase, but a tough one!! Maybe he's getting bored in the infant room? We were having tough drop offs with A, and our DC won't move them fully until 18 months. They started letting him go to the 18-24 month class for two hours each day and it was like they flipped a switch. He practically leaps out of arms now, he 'a so excited to be with the bigger kids. Maybe your DC could try something like that?
A likes to 'help' a lot these days, so he brings us our shoes when we say it's time to go and says, "here." It 's so sweet. We have to remove our shoes in the DC room, and yesterday I was there to pick him up, he went to the cubby to take my shoes and tried to hide them so we couldn't leave. Stinker.
We were in 5 also and had to move to 6. The 6 was always sold out everywhere so we switched brands and he's in a 4 now, the weight range was different. Weird.

Diapers are so weird. Auttie is only 21lbs but is in a size 4. Size 3 fits but she always leaks. We use luvs during the day and pampers at night.
Is he teething? Auttie always has massive poops when she's about to cut a tooth.

untaggablekatie hoping I feels better soon! Head injurys are scary because there's so much you can't see! Have you called your pediatrician? I called ours for the first big fall and they gave me a hand full of things to watch for, and absent any of those to just give her lots of hugs. Unfortunately I've had to look back on that list a few times since she's been walking, but it gives me peace of mind. Hugs for you and LO!

I sent an email to her... They are so good about getting back to me. I asked what we should be watching out for this evening... I'm going to leave work early and get him. That way I can assess the situation.
He ate some lunch too at daycare so that's good right?
untaggablekatie poor Isaac. Hopefully it looks worse than it is. If he was playing normally, I wouldn't worry *too* much, although I know it's hard when you can't be there to see for yourself. Hugs to you guys!
To add to the diaper convo...B is in size 5's and has been for awhile. I just ordered a case from diapers.com so hopefully he isn't planning any growth spurts for the next couple weeks!
cagoldi. Did you switch to Luvs? They always seemed to run big but luke had a bad rash with them. Silly fair skinned baby.
@sing2phins what brand do you use? I have an entire sleeve of size 3 huggies unopened that we never used if you want them.
We had been using Luvs but we switched to Kirkland. They are made by Huggies and they seem similar to their Little Movers. I like the leg openings for these because he doesn't get friction marks on his thighs like he did with Luvs. They're better for this stage, when the kids are super active.

I emailed and they gave me a list of things to watch for... we have to do wake ups twice at night now for two nights to assess his reaction.
I called DC and she just kinda tried to wake him and he woke up, looked at her like she was loony - like "lady I'm trying to sleep here" and went back to sleep.

We've been in size 5 for months too! And now he is leaking through size 5 nighttime diapers...do they even make 6? will I need to get him adult diapers??

My baby is in 5's as well, and I'm wondering if they're getting too small!
kfran84 C went through a stange a few weeks ago where he would have a massive poop at night and it would be EVERYWHERE. We upped his probiotics and that seemed to help him!
