What is on LO's Christmas list?

We didn't make a list for DS' first Christmas and ended up with poseable Gumby figurines and size 4T clothes. 

Right now DD's list includes exciting things like new crib sheets. What are you asking for (for LO)?

Here is a thread I started a while ago that has some good items on it.

My parents already got her the an anywhere chair (well a home goods version) for Christmas.

I really would love for her to get a wagon and an water/activity table. We shall see. I might stick H on starting a conversation with his parents. Ie talk to us don't just buy stuff and we have an already full car so ship it here.

Probably some clothes, an outdoor picnic table (joint gift for LO and DD1), books. We have a lot of hand me down everything so not much.

I love 4T for a 1 year old!

*from local boutiques so you can't exchange them even though they won't fit when that season rolls around

Toys that encourage walking and standing. Books. Clothes. Things like that.

Let's be real. He's going to be more interested in the boxes and trying to stick the wrapping paper in his mouth than any toy he's given anyways.

was thinking about this last night. Clothes and money in college fund. We have so many toys leftover from DD.

Ditto with lots of toys (and clothes) already from DD1 so we are asking from family for a year zoo pass, a little table and chairs set, arts & crafts mostly for DD1, and disney movies for their collection. Husband and I do the 4 gifts thing for bdays and Christmas: something they need, something they want, something they wear, something they read.

Bc my DD1 is weird like this, she asked for a gazing ball for Christmas or birthday (w/I a couple days from each other). I know that won't help you guys but wanted to share that

Most of my ideas for toys came from the thread aggie linked above.
I think my parents are getting DS his lifetime hunting & fishing license. It's $100 cheaper if we get it before he turns 4 (it would more than double in price if we wait til he's a teenager), and at less than 1 year old he won't even notice if he's not opening presents.

If we had a children's museum I'd ask for a membership to that.
Related, thinking of getting an annual family pass to the big parish park for my nephews (2 & 3 years old). They love the playgrounds, and I imagine in the spring SIL will be ready to let them start fishing. They got poles and learned to cast last year, but she understandably wasn't ready for hooks.

Oh I don't imagine my parents will keep it to one gift. But I can hope it will be less? Maybe? My house is too small for an extravagant Christmas of toys.

I totally feel you. Our house is already full and I am dreading all of the stuff we'll have to find space for. Especially with S being the ILs first grandchild.

Another one I thought of is a wagon. The ones that two kids can sit in. We want it for Christmas so we have it for Mardi Gras but others may want it for other activities.

7 months yesterday! Good to be back

Rory is 20.2 lb 27.5", scooting but not crawling, stands in his crib (not on his own), sits on his own, Says dadadada babababa and supposedly pop pop (I haven't heard this! ) eating stage 2 plus egg yolk,mashed potatoes, bread, some puffs, banana. I plan to try to make some purees soon myself ...

I've been super busy at work lately and no time After work-- Eat play sleep repeat! Lol

I have an Amazon list that I throw random things on to. It's mostly for me. Babygirl is the 17th grandkid for my parents and I don't anticipate a ton of stuff. (Thank goodness, because I am so minimalist that my kid currently plays with an old oatmeal container, measuring spoons and her plastic cups--she has a couple of toys, but prefers other stuff anyway.)

I want one of those walker carts--they look like they would serve a couple of purposes over the years. That's the only big ticket item--I figure DH and I will make that her Santa present. And then little stuff you guys have suggested. I like the Green Toys nesting cups and so does she--I'll probably suggest to family another Green Toy and the Fiona doll and some tactile balls. A couple of board books and clothes if she needs at that point. I found a rocking giraffe on CL for $20 that I might go get this weekend and squirrel away for Christmas or her birthday.

The good thing about being super broke now is that she won't care!

duckker I'm planning on wrapping boxes of diapers and wipes. Maybe even empty boxes too. He'll be getting so much stuff between grandparents, aunts, great aunts, etc.

With that said I've also started an amazon wish list in case anyone asks for ideas.

I bought DD one of those exersaucers that converts to a toy table when it was on clearance a month or two ago and put it away for Xmas. She will likely be too big for the exersaucer part (we only have a walker currently) but will enjoy the toy table. Also my MIL has asked for a "list". I am not expecting all of these things but I like to include lots of options incase somebody can't find one thing or another. So far I have on the list- a wagon, little table and chairs, anywhere chair, puzzles, board books, an ergo winter cover, toys that don't require batteries. DD must have 10 or 15 toys that light up or make noise when you play with them, but only 1 that is just a toy. I don't know how that happened?

I recommend the Sassy Fascination Station. We have a few of these snd they are great to bring to restaurants (or use at home). Stick em on the table and she's entertained lol.

Love tit because we don't know where we'll be after Christmas. I don't think I could keep the grandparents to one gift as they overloaded us with things on this last visit and nothing we asked for or wanted, except books and gifts. The mouse my mom gave us and this fisher price puppy were hits, but not the football and the stupid fisher price robot. I know MIL and her husband will give us a ton of football stuff because her husband is obsessed with football and the idea that because DS is big he'll play football (I won't let him play contact football so they can shove it). We had to buy another suitcase after our visit.

Maybe I can ask for gift cards. I'd like to get him a water table for his birthday when he's more able to use it.

We're still waiting on an interview. If it goes well and they offer anything close to what DH wants, at least one of us is moving overseas before Christmas and then it's the question of when G and I follow.
