I made 3 dozen cookies last night and they are gone save for one. ONE. DH and my mom totally ate way more than me which bugs me because I spent the time in the kitchen making the damn things. AND I have AF so I feel like both of these things entitle me to more cookies.

Sorry about the cleaning lady eyenigh. DH wants to get a cleaning service, but I know I'd be in charge of finding/overseeing her so I've been dragging my feet on it because I don't want to deal with those kinds of problems. I'm thinking about just going with one of the major chains even though they're more expensive. It seems like they would be more reliable - if someone calls in sick, there would be a back-up, right?

My FWP - I have an extra room in my house and I don't know how I want to decorate it. I'm thinking "indoor treehouse," but DH is reluctant to build me a fort. WTF?

In my Chrome browser the Gmail shortcut in my bookmarks bar has the Facebook icon next to it instead of the red "G". It is bugging the ever living shit out of me. I even deleted the bookmark and made a new one but it didn't fix it. WTF.

Rude! I'd make him make more but my H makes awesome cookies. AF definitely reserves majority of cookies, especially those you made.

DH got a GoPro a while back. So far most of his videos have been of DD. I mean, not that DD isn't awesome, but at 6 months old I'm not convinced she's doing anything that necessitates a GoPro.

Whatever though. I figured it was cheaper semi-mid-life crisis than a Ferrari. Maybe he can wear it when we do the indoor skydiving next month.

Yes. The GoPro is just the latest in a series of mid life crises purchases. Hey buys one, never uses it, sells it then buys something else. A motorbike, followed by a different motorbike followed by xbox360 followed by Xbox one followed by yet another bike followed by a boat(!?!) followed by the GoPro. He always needs some toy. I drew the line at an ATV and a snowmobiles
. We live in a major metropolitan area. What are we supposed to do with those?

At least I no longer feel guilty adding to my camera lens collection. At least those mean we have a well documented life story .

Today's FWP: The water guy is scheduled for delivery today. He usually comes down to our side porch slider and leaves them so I don't have to worry about when he comes. But there is 3 feet of snow blocking our slider so he has to come through the front and buzz our security door (we live in a condo) so I have to be around to let him in. I have no time frame to expect him and I know the second I get in the shower he will buzz because isn't that how it always goes?!

This would not be a problem I'd ever have. My FWP is that my DH gets annoyed with breaking down boxes from all the Amazon packages that show up at our house. I dislike shopping at stores, so I buy everything I can online.

stellabunny I buy everything on Amazon too! Our UPS guy must hate me. Currently waiting on 48 rolls of TP, 24 rolls of paper towels, a case of diapers, and some random snacks (so I could get 15% off my S&S order this month).

I have a Nix coupon I'm holding on to incase someone in dd's class shows up with those little buggers. It's good until 2016.

I'm telling you, mayonnaise works so much better. Slather it on, put a shower cap (or a plastic shopping bag in a pinch) for 30 minutes or so then rinse. Its a little sloppy but it works and smells better than the nix and makes your hair super soft.

My mom used mayo on me and my sister when we were little and had it. It worked like a charm! She just put shower caps over our heads and sat us in front of the TV. You still have to go through the hair with a comb for the eggs but the mayo suffocates the bugs.
