Hey ladies. I am not an EPer but I am pumping every day at work. I was wondering how often do you change the membranes on your pump parts? My supply seems to be dropping after two whole months of pumping and I'm thinking/hoping changing the membranes will help.
I dont think I've changed my membranes yet and Im almost three months in. However, they're super cheap and easy to order off Amazon to give a try. Worth a shot ETA: Ive gone through a few shield replacements though and bought extra parts with them so I guess that counts as changing them. The ones that the Medela pump came with seem thinner and more flimsy than the ones ive gotten off Amazon from Maymom (love them).
I change mine every 3 months, speaking of which i should change mine about now. If you use medela ive heard that medela users like the duck bills by ameda instead of the medela valve/membrane parts.

I just changed them this morning. So far I'm back to where I was before I started seeing it drop off, but I've also noticed I'm leaking again a lot more than I was a few weeks ago. My LO just finished going through a growth spurt so I'm thinking that is the cause.
