One of my neighbors is cooking fish. It is not sitting well with my stomach. Blech
Ugh. That is the worst... Hopefully the smell dissipates soon.
It seems to be gone now. They are always cooking something that seems to upset my stomach right now. We're in a town house and we share a wall, which apparently means we get to share our kitchen smells. I'm so hoping when we move next, we get a house.

I'm in a condo, so I can totally relate! Our hallway always smells of something not wonderful... I have a fantastic cotton linen candle that I light when I get home that helps.
So this morning I took my son (18 months) to this indoor play area. He went down a slide with his cousin and he must have twisted his ankle or something because he absolutely LOST it with tears. I thought he was just being sensitive, but then he wouldn't stop crying, wouldn't stand on his right leg and won't walk (Geez right after he finally learned how to walk!!) Now we're going to the doctor in an hour but I'm going to be so irritated if my husband is out of town for work, I'm feeling sick, and I end up having a toddler that is crying and can't move. I feel so sad for him but don't even know what's hurting him or how to help since he is too young to tell me what hurts. He kept saying, "play!" then I would put him down and he would realize his leg hurt and collapse and start sobbing.
oh no! Hope he's okay! I didn't know this before DS but slide accidents are really common, good luck!

txmommy14, I hope your DS is okay! Hopefully it's just twisted and he's feeling better soon. My 18 month old always falls and catches himself with his arms, and then it's "boo boo" while pointing to his wrist for the next hour or two.
athn64, fish gets me every time. There's a guy at my office that always microwaves fish for lunch, and the smell permeates everything. I fee like there needs to be an anti-fish-nuking law in offices.
I'm at home for Columbus Day, spending the day cleaning. If anyone had told me before I had kids that having a day home alone to clean would feel like a vacation, I would have laughed at them. I'm folding laundry, watching Outlander on the TV and drinking chocolate milk. Oh, the bliss.

Another random - I think i just got hit with my first wave of morning sickness. I never had it with my daughter, but, oooh, this is an unpleasant feeling that could stop anytime now. Yuck.
I've been feeling nauseous all day, not terrible, but movement makes it worse! I've been sucking on jolly ranchers which seems to help...I've got to clean my house!

Just got the call with my second beta... 3962.5 3 weeks after Ovulation. My HcG 5 days ago was 228. Movin on up! First ultrasound scheduled for October 30th.
Still waiting on a call to see if my DS needs a cast. I don't know what I'll do with an 18 month old in a leg cast, my DH gone for a month, and first tri. Of course that's best case scenerio assuming we get good news at our u/s on Thursday!

No fracture but aren't for sure about the cast yet, we have to wait a few days....as if I didn't already have enough anxiety about getting through the next few days, haha! We're currently snuggling in bed watching Sesame Street, so I can't complain too much

So glad to hear there is no fracture... hopefully no cast will be needed!

I have my first rehearsal for what wil probably be my last show this season tomorrow night, I'm excited about that as long as the nausea can stay at bay for a couple hours! Then Saturday we have family pictures! We have never had a professional family shoot before so I'm looking forward to it!

Good luck! We are doing family pictures next month. I am already stressing about what we will be wearing
