I had left over chicken and rice casserole reheated but eaten cold... Cause my 19 month old ensures I never get to actually have my food (or coffee) hot.

lunch time is dinner here- DH decided to cook for us tonight, which is awesome- bell peppers stuffed with rice and mince meat, in a tomato sauce, with that Greek pasta that's shaped like rice? I forget what it's called. YUM! This thread's given me so many lunch ideas!!!
It's a Hispanic's favorite meal. It's a bowl of pinto beans, frito chips, red/green chile, lettuce, tomato, onion. Some people put sour cream. There is a place close to where I live that serves them out of the mini frito chip bag. I don't know if I could do that. I grew up on frito pies and beans.
Wowza! Frito pies sound amazing (and nothing like I imagined them to be). Am I correct that it is kind of like a nacho/taco salad but with beans instead of taco meat? If so, I think I would love it!
I'm about to start making lunch now. Fried chicken breast and salad. Gonna use chipotle dressing on my salad and add crispy tortilla chips now that I've seen that Frito pie!
Pretty much. They are so good. If you all were here, I would share. I'm sure you would love them.
I'm having frito pies! Our campus releases kids half day on a Thursday once a month and do a potluck. I over heard a co worker talking about baby stuff. I pretty sure they are planning something for me...we shall see.
I totally finished off the Fritos and made me some Frito pie lunch today. Hoping DH takes me for pasta tomorrow night.
I had oatmeal for breakfast and that resulted in me feeling too hungry after I got out of the swimming pool, I took down part of my lunch as mid morning snack. The only thing I got left for lunch was a cup of ham and bean soup. Took that down in 5 mins and now an hour later, I'm eyeing up this delicious chocolate clif bar, which is meant to be my afternoon snack. I'm having such a dilemma, if I eat it now, then I'd be out of a snack later this afternoon. Then I'd be eating things I shouldn't be (blueberry muffin tends to be the choice) for my GD diet. Willpower, where are you, I must wait til at least 3.30 to eat that clif bar! (currently 1.46pm)

PikoPiko which CLIF bar is it? My son loves the Chocolate Mint ones. We have to stock up on them since his meds can make him loose weight. The whole clif bar and pickles phase he was in was horrible!
I had cookies and coffee for breakfast and then a turkey & swiss croissant for lunch. Then 6 clementines. I've eaten 5 bags of the halo clementines from Costco in two weeks. Working on #6.
mom2xover2002 - Chocolate peanut butter, it's a crunch granola bar. I also like the white chocolate macadamia nut flavor.
There are 2 crunchy bars in the wrapper, I wish I hadn't separated them this morning. Was thinking bringing the whole pack in would be too much of a temptation. Now I'm hungry

I love the white chocolate granola ones! Only problem is that they are so hard to find here
