Confused over not drinking coffee. Mine runs on auto and is literally the reason I get out of bed in the morning.
I was lamenting to my H how I needed a coffee maker in the bedroom for when I have insomnia bc I had to go ::gasp:: ALL THE WAY DOWNSTAIRS to get my coffee yesterday morning. In a perfect world, I would have an auto-brew coffee maker in the kitchen and a remote-control coffeemaker in the master bath
I've been taking the wee one for jogs in the stroller to chill him out at nap time. But his hands get hold. I can't believe this didn't occur to me before, but I just stitched little bean bag type things, filled them with rice, and popped them in the microwave. Boom. Warm hands.
mischief I love talking toy rotation. The most important factor is what kind of storage you have available to you.
The simplest way is often to take a few Rubbermaids or plastic laundry bins and put a varied selection of toys in each one. Then you put all the toys from one bin away and switch it out for a new bin's worth of toys when you're ready. It also makes sanitizing toys really simple.
I have 3 big bins I can use for storage and then 4 bins used as toy boxes right now. Plus two toy shelves with little bins. AKA way too much.

When H is gone I have a terrible time actually cooking something good for dinner. DD flips from the minute we get home and I can't get anything done. She wants me to hold her the whole time. So tonight it was Mac and cheese and Mickey chicken nuggets. I'll probably have a bowl of cereal soon now that she's sleeping.
My MIL showed up unannounced about ten minutes ago. She came to "play with the baby". Hate to break it to you lady, but he goes to bed at 7:30 and you are not getting him all worked up at this time. It is literally 8 minutes door to door from our houses, why the fuck would you decide after seven on a Wednesday night is a good time for a drop by?

They are adorable, cambury108! Beagles are a personal favorite of mine.
Thank you!
Maya is a rescue and I got her when she was 2 and she is more than a little messed up physically and mentally but I love her. The vet said she won't live a very long life and so I make the most of what she has.

You just need a Keurig in the bedroom... For emergencies. And sick days.

I had a beagle mix growing up. He was the best dog I ever had.
The drinking threads have caused me to give a lot of thought to what my first post partum drink should be. I was thinking champagne, or maybe a good moscato. Or Guiness is supposed to be good for milk production, right?
I guess I don't have that many small toys. It feels like a lot, but we have Little People, Legos, some puzzles, and a shit load of books. THe rest is bigger stuff like a ball pit, tent/tunnel, and easel which I keep put away unless we are using them.
I have no idea how we accumulated so many little toys, but there are seriously enough to fill 9 little plastic bins.

My H is away during the work week. I have the easiest dinner schedule for the kids.
Monday: pizza, yogurt, fruit or veg Tuesday: chicken nuggets (Applegate organics - don't judge me!!) & mini tator tots, fruit or veg Wednesday: ham (I buy the ham steaks - dice & heat up for 15 seconds); pierogies that cook in 4 minutes, fruit or veg Thursday: meatballs + veg Friday: grilled cheese sandwiches
I don't eat anything fancy. I eat after they're in bed, so like 7:30 - they eat at 5pm. I like WF prepared foods.
Good suggestions! She's been so picky lately but we alternate between spaghetti, nuggets, eggs, and pizza. The pierogies are a good idea!
