@tmg14 so many technicalities.... *technically* she can wait 30 days to sign, but prior to birth she met with a lawyer and opted for the quickest relinquishment, which is one business day after signing. She couldn't sign until she was off pain meds and discharged, and we've heard updates from our agency that she should be signing this weekend. I guess there's nothing stopping her from taking her time with signing, but we would still have the baby in our care until she did. It seems she and her BF are ready to move on, so I'm thinking it won't go much longer than the next few days. after that we can't leave for a week or two but that's because of clearing human trafficking laws---not BM changing her mind.

Jeremiah is 2 weeks 2 days old and doing awesome! He is up past birthweight having gained a whole lb in a week!! I feel like I can finally relax more with his feedings now that I know he is gaining well. His sister had weight gain issues so that's a relief. Last night he gave me two 4 hour stretches which was nice. Now if only he would start them earlier than 1:30 am. He still has his days and nights mixed up and his witching hour is between 10pm-2 am ish. He's a pretty content happy baby other than that. We love him.

DS is 2.5 weeks old. Pretty much the perfect baby - hardly ever cries and is sleeping great.
Only issue has been that he's a lazy eater, so we switched to EPing when he was 1 week old. In general, I think it is going well - DH can help w/ feedings, my supply is great (so we're already starting a freezer stash), I know he's eating enough, and I feel a lot less stressed in general. He had gained back all the weight he lost by his 2 week appt, and I can tell that he's starting to fatten up.
Next week is the last week DH is off from work, so I'm already getting worried about taking care of DS alone. I'm still having a bit of a hard time getting around as I heal from the c-section, and it's been really easy for me to over-do it and end up in more pain. Also, it'll be sad to not see DH w/ DS as much - he really is an amazing dad, and I love watching them together.
DX: MFI TTC April 2011 BFP #1 7/15/11, EDD 3/22/12 - CP Varicocelectomy surgery 9/4/12 - T improved to normal, but still MFI IVF #1 w/ ICSI Jan 2015 - 11R/6M/6F, ET of a 3AB expanded blast w/ none to freeze.
DS is 4 weeks and 4 days. Crazy to think a month has gone by already. He is doing well with weight gain up a pound and a half since birth. We had some digestive issues but since we changed formula and I stopped eating dairy things have turned around. Now we seem to have the opposite issue, instead of pooping 8-10 times a day we get maybe one. I think he should be popping more cause most of what he gets is formula because of my supply issues. There are times he seems like he is struggling with gas pains as well, he will cry and won't stop when we pick him up like he used to. We are also not getting a lot of sleep. I remember the days when he ate and slept like you ladies are talking about. I miss them. Now he is sleeping for an hour or hour and a half. It is nice that he is more alert but I can't get anything done during the day because he is always up and in order for him to sleep he seems to need to sleep on someone. At night he is fine sleeping on his own so I don't get it. I do love him more than anything. Still can't believe he is mine sometimes.
Inside baby here. I'll be 39 weeks tomorrow. When I go Tuesday we are scheduling my induction. Most likely for later this week. DD was big and so is he, so the doctor isn't making me wait!

Still preggers, husband, father, and aunts were thinking she would be here this weekend but no go. I think she is comfy in there and will probably need to be forced out. I on the other hand feel huge and am very uncomfortable.
Ivan will be six days old today. He's very lazy and during the day, I find myself feeling sad that he sleeps so much. He loves to be cuddled but I get anxious about how few hours per day he's actually awake.
I am not a fan of BFing. LO's latch is consistently shallow so the pain is just astonishing. My nipples are practically blue around the edges, and both are cracked. I'll bring it up with the pedi/LC this week but in the meantime I've been pumping and supplementing.
At night he's pretty good.about the crib, but he's very particular about his arms, so we're having trouble finding something for him to wear to bed. Right now he's actually asleep on my chest, half swaddled, half naked. If I cover his arms he'll go crazy!
. sorry if I missed it but have you checked if he has a tongue tie? DS1 had it and it made feeding miserable. Our first LC didn't check but I found another who diagnosed it right away.
. I have a sleep sack type of thing with no swaddle on the arms. It's kind of like a HALO sleep sack but without the swaddle so they can have their arms free. Have you tried one of those? I will have to see who makes it, but currently little one is sound asleep on me so I can't move.
Just had another appt at 38w6d. Currently sitting here at 3cm, -3, 60% effaced. 5 more work days left, woohoo! Maybe/hopefully even less, but if I just have a few days to myself, that'll be fine, too. I'll get some stuff done, hopefully, if that ends up being the case. I still need to pack my hospital bag anyway. I should probably get on that...
leloyd, That sounds exactly like what he needs! He breaks out of every swaddle (even the heavy duty Velcro ones). When you think of it, I'd love to know the brand!
@nochill, I will definitely try the shields. I'll try anything, really. I don't want to toss in the towel yet. Thanks!
rondosa, tongue tie occurred to me, too - it's on my list of things to discuss with the LC. Fx it's not that, but I'd like to know either way.
It's from Carters. Since we are going into Winter they no longer have the no arm one like what I have, but they have ones where the arms are still free, just covered, like this one:
Still pregnant. 39+4. This baby is still high and has not dropped. I'm so uncomfortable but it's bearable. The rib pain has gotten more constant and is not bearable. I had trouble getting dressed for work today. I'm tired and know I have to keep working until I go into labor but I just cannot sit all day. It hurts too much.
I have no clue where I'm at; my office doesn't check until 40 weeks. I have an NST and last appt scheduled for my due date on Thursday. Luckily H is off so he can take me. I'm having random irregular contractions that don't amount to anything. They just hurt and then go away. I have no inclination of when this baby is coming.
I feel the same way she is still laying high and I'm 39 and 5 days. And very uncomfortable. I have been sitting on a yoga ball while at work too which has been helping with being uncomfortable.
