Do you have a secondary convertible car seat? And which one did you get? We have a Radion RXT for my car. I stay home, so LO rarely needs to go in DH's car. But we'd like to get a convertible seat for his car so he can take her if needed. We don't want to spend as much as we did on the Diono (about $250) because it will be used only rarely. Any recommendations?
My husband has an Evenflo in his but I for the life of me cannot remember which one now, we got it at Target though
And we actually ended up with one at our shower that was FF only that we couldn't return so for now it's in my mom's. It's the Graco My Ride 70 I believe but I'm pretty sure it was under $100.

I have the same Eddie Bauer one mentioned above except I HATE it!!! Sadly it's what fits in my car. DH has a safety first one in his truck, we needed two because of work schedules and daycare pick ups and drop offs.
my primary is the Graco milestone and love it. We have talked about a second on for DH but have not done it yet. With deer season here we spend a lot of time in his truck on a 5 hour drive to and from the ranch so we would use the "good" seat anyway. May wait until Jan or so and get a cheap one for him. may look into the one you have babycaps
I have the Chicco NextFit in my SUV, I love it. T has never complained.
DH can't keep a carseat in his truck due to his job, so I asked Car Seats for the Little's and they recommended these 4 seats for easy to install and on the cheaper side since he rarely brings her.
-Cosco Scenera Next ($45) -Cosco APT 50 ($65) -Graco Contender ($??) -Graco My Size 65 ($150)
We have three convertible car seats and my mom has one installed in her car. We bought two (some kind of Graco ya'll kill me knowing the exact model etc.) Someone gave us one (again have no idea on the model) and we use it when he travels with someone else. I hate moving the convertible seats. Getting them installed is a pita I say get an extra!

Oh girl, since joining the Car Seats for the Little's group, I've learned so much and have had so much help from them. My SIL tried to give me one of her seats, because of the group I knew to double check if it was RF'ing since we are still RF'ing and when the expiration date was. Surely enough, it was expired.
I feel like an obsessed Momma, but it's crazy the more you know about the car seats, the more you want to learn and make sure you have everything correct.
We have two Britax Marathons. One for my car and one for DH's. We're pretty flexible about who drops E off and picks her up from daycare, so it's super helpful to have one in each car. If we're leaving E over night somewhere, we'll leave one of our car seats with her.

We still use the infant bucket seat in MH's car since LO hasn't maxed out the weight limit yet. But for my inlaws and my dad, I picked out this seat. It has no bells and whistles and it doesn't recline much so if LO falls asleep her head droops to one side. But they drive her places so so rarely it really doesn't matter. And you can't beat the price.
