I'm so sorry you're going through this. My father was very ill for awhile and I know it's especially hard when you're unable to be there to help and offer support in person. I'll be sending Ts & Ps your way.
I wanted to post a quick update on my mom. She was finally, finally released from the hospital today. They put her on a medicine that will work for the short-term, so they're going to keep her on that until she's recovered more from her major abdominal surgery. There can be some side effects if it's used long-term, so it's just a temporary solution. There are a couple more tests that they want to do, but they need to wait until she has recovered a little more. In the meantime, they're hoping that time will also help with healing.
It's very frustrating that there aren't any concrete answers, still, but I'm very glad that they she got to go home. Being in the hospital was taking its toll, on her and my dad. I'm still emotional about my mom being sick, but feeling cautiously optimistic that she's on the upswing.
Thank you again for all of your thoughts and prayers. I can't express my appreciation enough for the kind words when I was having a meltdown last week. You ladies are wonderful, thank you.
Glad to hear your mom was released. I'm sorry to hear you don't have any answers, yet. FX you get some answers soon. Your family will be in my thoughts.
