Still here. LMP due date is Monday 10/26. My 40 week appt isn't until Thursday 10/29. If I'm still pregnant they will check my cervix for the first time and then depending on results we will make a game plan for induction sometime after 41 weeks. If princess doesn't come on her own she will officially be a November baby.
39w today ,edd October 31st. Won't have my 39w appt until Friday :/ last appt I was 3cm 70%. Hopefully she comes sooner rather than later. I do not want an induction.
Is there seriously only 6 of us left? Good lord, this sucks.
Agreed. My patience is wearing thin! The next person to ask the state of my cervix will be getting way more info than they want.
This was me last night at a wedding. Granted I was surrounded by doctors and nurses. But, I got tired of all when are you going to have this baby. So they learned how far dilated and effaced I was at the last appointment by the end of the wedding. lol
I have an end in site! Induction scheduled for tomorrow morning.
Bittersweet date coincidence: I found out I was pregnant with Logan the day after my grandmother passed away, and tomorrow is her birthday. Kind of a cool/weird thing.
If one more person asks me if I've had my baby yet I might lose it. She's not even two full days late yet! The most annoying part is its close friends and family, obviously if I had the baby you'd be among the first to know! The baby is not here yet, I don't know when she will come and I don't know if I'm making any "progress" bc my doctor doesn't check dilation. Any other questions???
mrsh82414 agreed. I've been getting questions all week. Wasn't even at my due date. Your OB doesn't do cervical checks at all?
Not until my 40 week check up which is tmw at 40w3d. I'm hoping she says there is some dilation, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Im pretty sure I'm going to end up with an induction, just not sure what type or day. The earliest would be next Monday which means the money I spent on babys Halloween outfit was a waste.
Well I went to my appt today. Baby looks great, but again I was told she is going to be in the 9lb range. I am officially 1cm dilated and 50% effaced. Boo! Babys head is directly on my cervix so she feels that will help with effacement, but doesn't anticipate that I will go into labor on my own. Monday I will go to the hospital around 7am where they will monitor baby and check my cervix again. If I haven't progressed they will give me cyotec and most likely send me home. If labor doesn't start naturally they will have me come back Tuesday to start the pitocin. If I go in Monday and I'm already 3-4 cm then they will just start the pitocin. I also found out that my doctor is not on call between now and next Wednesday. I like/know today's doctor, I don't know the on call doctor for Friday and Saturday, I hate the Sunday doctor, I like Monday and don't know Tuesday's... I'm wicked annoyed about that. I know it's not a huge deal bc the doctors aren't in all that long, but still

Exciting to have an end in sight! Hope you end up with a doctor you are comfortable with, that makes all the difference.
@justplanelove, glad you were able to get a plan of action from your doc as well. I asked about sweeping, but my OB office doesn't do membrane sweeps bc they are only 50% effective and they can introduce bacteria. I wasn't really keen on the idea anyway though bc I really don't want my baby to be born on Halloween.
Thanks for thinking of me! I have been losing small pieces of plug fairly steadily since Friday, but no contractions. I will be heading to the hospital at 7am tmw for my induction and they will check my cervix. If I am less than 3cm then they will give me cyotec. I will hang out for four hours and after that they will check me again to see if I need another pill or to start pitocin. They said they will only send me home if I'm over contracting. If I show up and I'm 3cm+ then they will most likely just start pitocin. They told me I can eat the whole time I'm in labor unless I get an epidural or if it's looking like I'll need a c section, so that was good to hear. Also one of the doctors I really like is on call tmw. All signs are pointing to positivity. Hopefully we will meet our baby girl tmw!
Just got sent home from the hospital. Cyotec was placed at 8:10am. I'm having really good consistent contractions so I can't get another dose of the pill, but they aren't strong enough to be considered active labor so I got the boot. I will monitor them at home. The nurse said only to come back if they are 2-3 minutes apart and extremely painful or my water breaks. If I don't go into labor today I have to go back at 7am tmw and we will follow the same protocol. Check dilation, if not dilated enough another pill, sit for four hours blah blah, if dilated start pitocin and hopefully have baby. If she doesn't come out by Friday 41w5d, I may ask them to cut her out. I'm so over it at this point lol.
