After reading some of the dramz on M15 I'm feeling a little stabby about vaccines. Their discussion isn't inciting enough to warrant my comment, but sometimes I just want to metaphorically punch everyone in the face. Or maybe literally. Maybe both.

spurp13 I'm with you on the non obervantness (yes I made up a word). I recall a few from dd1: at 9 months, they asked if she stacked blocks. I was like um, we don't own any blocks...I didn't know we were supposed to own blocks... At 1 year they asked if she pointed at things. I again had no clue. Luckily she decided to demonstrate her pointing skills for the pedi by pointing at something in the room.
S/o eyeliner I have to use the liquid kind that has a built in brush. I really like physicians formula and the Almay one. Start inside, go out Re wonder weeks I like the concept just to go "oh, that's why she's a fuss face. It isn't that she might be sick/have an ear infection/be teething". But the book chapter I read was pretty annoying and repeated itself a lot.
C won't take a paci.
keelyd I hope you feel better soon. We switched dcp when N was 4 months old. Found the new one the day I got pissed at the old one, gave two weeks notice (we couldn't afford to just leave), and switched. Both were in homes but the second was so much better--and my then-4.5 month old somehow communicated such.

Oh and DH and I agreed that whoevers kid went to sleep first (he got toddler, I got baby) would do the dishes. This happened almost immediately: But then I sat here catching up on the ransoms and now she is waking up again...
Holy hell just had a potty training break through!!!! I was giving DS a bath when he tells me he needs to be and hurries over to his potty and he actually went! That's been the biggest hurdle, getting him to tell me when he needs to go before he has an accident. He was so proud of himself, he went streaking around the house.
I finally got all caught up! It took all day. DH had knee surgery yesterday and today was pretty much awful because I was home from work taking care of the baby and him. It was just a pretty hectic day and now I'm exhausted but have to get up in 3 hours. Should sleep but instead, on here. I handed out all the love tits though!
Re: Wonder weeks and other comparisons. I'm making a huge effort not to worry about where DD is in comparison to expectations and peers because I know if I go down that path, it will become all consuming. That's just my type A personality. I don't know how I feel about wonder weeks but it is interesting to look forward to what she might be doing next. That being said, today she rolled from her belly to her back for the first time since she did it a few times accidentally a few months ago. She did it over and over and I videotaped it but then she got extremely overstimulated and cried for about an hour. That'll teach me. I felt so bad that she tired herself out like that.
I can't with the UO thread today. Rape is never the victim's fault and I'm so suprised by how many people feel sorry for the rapists in that situation.
Also on a better note, give me all the soup! I like almost any kind of soup.
Dude. NO ONE feels sorry for the rapists. We feel sorry for the men who are WRONGFULLY accused (even though that is a TERRIFYINGLY small number of accused rapists).
Sorry I just saw this but I was meaning more along the lines of the Steubenville Ohio case where the people in the town were shaming the victim and saying how "awful" it was for the two boys that raped her and how "it is such a shame that their lives were ruined". One of them was even aloud back on the football team last season like nothing happened.
I wasn't saying anything about the ladies on here!

LO is unicorning it up over there and here I am awake since 4am excited about moving into a new house today. Cause moving with a 3 month old just wouldn't be enough of a challenge without more than 4 hours sleep!
