Ef/ep/both/supp? EBF We offered a bottle with frozen milk I pumped 7-8 weeks ago and he wanted nothing to do with it.
Triumphs? My boobs are back to their pre-preg size and I wore one of my pre-preg fancy bras to the mall the other day. It felt great to not wear a nursing bra!

My first I went from a barely b to a double d, after I stopped breastfeeding I dropped to a c, now I'm prob back to a d-- I've been wearing tanks bc bras are uncomfy so honestly I don't know what size I am. One is def a whole cup size more than the other.
Hi every one! Baby is 13 weeks old I breastfeed all day, when I am at work, he gets a bottle of pumped milk.
Triumphs: keeping my milk supply up after he got sick. To be fair I did start with oversupply issues, which made me get mastitis twice. Now when I pump, (only at dream feed and in the am) I make about 7 to 8 oz
Struggles: the irony. I went back to work super cocky because my freezer was PACKED with frozen milk. First day at work - baby throws. Up all the milk. Turns out my milk smells and tastes RANCID. Impossible though - freezer is at highest setting - all precautions were taken. Dicovery? Extra lipase in milk. I calculate that about a gallon of the oldest milk in the freezer was thrown out. I'm saving the milk I pumped in October to cook with for when baby can start eating purees. All pumped milk now has to be scalded before freezing.... Basically, I pump 24 os of milk a day (3 pumping sessions if I include the pumping session at work), all to be tossed if I don't move my ass and scald.
I also have to try to give him as fresh milk as possible because scalded milk looses some of its nutrients.
Basically God made me into a cow that can't take full advantage of my milking abilities. I couldn't even donate my milk to a milk bank because of this issue. Throwing away so much milk was SUPER sad.

You could do a private donation with someone on eats on feet's or hm4hb. Dd received a donation of over 200oz from someone who had high lipase. Some babies will drink high lipase milk. My dd didn't care.

anaberry, have you talked to a local milk bank? I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that because of the pasteurization process, they don't care about lipase. I can't find that information now to verify. Or you could go the private donation why as well.
