Ugh, the end of daylight savings time is always so rough on me since having children. Our DD has been up since 5 (6 old time). Today is going to be hard. I wish they'd just leave the time alone!
We did okay. She's normally an earlier riser so today wasn't too bad.
It still seems to have an affect on our DD (age 3 1/2). She's normally an early riser, so she was up even earlier. Then, last night she was ready for bed an hour earlier, but we wanted to try to keep her up so that she would sleep later. She's still sleeping, so maybe it worked.
It messes with me terribly. When I come home, I don't want to do anything but go to sleep. I think it is a combination of the season change and the time change.
The time change is hard for the dog, too. He thinks that we are late with meals and walks. Poor fellow thinks we're ignoring him.
Our dog used to do the same thing. He'd get mad at us in the morning and try to pull the blankets off of us because he wanted us to let him out and get him his breakfast.
