I slept wrong last night and could barely get out of bed. Such fun! It is easier going to work today knowing that I'm only working 2.5 days! Hope everyone has a good morning!
I'm exhausted. DD is a ball of fire and I am getting irritated already this morning. I need to clean today and read over all of the paper work from DHs employer about the different health plans available this year. Fun stuff today for sure.
My boobs. My boobs! They hurt so much getting up today I couldn't carry baby. When he started nursing, I noticed a hot spot on my right boob. Please don't be a precurser to mastiTis. Please? Pumping right now to drain.... Why do I make so much milk? Baby, why do you only like to eat from 9am to 7pm like a kraken and never let go? And then never want anymore and just nibble? My boobs don't like it!!!
My parents were in town this weekend, and kept both kiddos entertained the whole time. Really can't wait for them to move here in a few years so we can see them more often.
I've been back to work about 2 weeks, but today is the first time I won't be working on getting my files back most of the day. I might actually be productive! Or I might hide in my office eating leftover Halloween candy and looking at pics from this weekend. That seems much more likely.
anaberry, ds does this to me too. You should hopefully regulate, it took me a while but now I don't wake up rock solid. Try block nursing, if you haven't already.
This is what I've done from day one, not so much to regulate, but to make sure baby gets hindmilk. My cans are never ending faucets!
We're headed to my mom's to see my sister one last time before she heads back to Oregon. Hoping it's less stressful than Saturday (lots of smokers, non vaxers, and drinking people wanting to hold walt (and being told no)). Going without H so it should be interesting (he's usually my backup against the crazy). Also, it is pouring down rain so I just want to stay home and cuddle with walt. Hope everyone gets plenty of caffeine today!
Woke up late. B had some really serious congestion yesterday and through last night. It took me forever to fall asleep because I kept worrying about sleep apnea. We did the nose frida in the middle of the night after he work up literally "talking" in complaint to us. It was really weird. Like someone was talking but made no sense. Scared the bejesus out of me at first. I have a feeling when he gets older he's going to be quite the talker.
@missava387 have fun at your spin class! That's one of the classes my dad teaches and I've gone a few times when I'm visiting my parents - they really are a lot of fun. What surprised me wasn't how sore my thighs were, because I was expecting that, but how sore my butt was! I looked like an old lady climbing down from the bike at the end of class.
So there's a minor flood warning near my mom's (not scary but not something to drive in). Walt and I are getting our pajamas back on and cuddling. @missava387 have fun at spin class!
Morning! Little lady decided that 2:30-4:30 was an appropriate time to be awake, so I'm dragging today. Chugging coffee and hoping she takes a long nap this morning so I can get some stuff done around here, there's still so much unpacking to do.
Yesterday was DH's birthday! He just wanted to relax at home, so we spent the day bingewatching Netflix. It was lovely
Not much happening today except unpacking and heading to the grocery store. And eating all of DS's Halloween candy, obvs.
Holy hell. I'm working from home today, and the neighbor's dog is SO LOUD. It's been barking for over an hour nonstop, half way down the street, and I can hear it over my music with windows closed.
I'm not a dog owner, so I don't know what this means. Is the dog in distress or something? Will it stop?

Little Bones loved Halloween. He liked giving candy more than receiving. He keeps talking about DH's and my costume. I hate dressing up for Halloween so this will be used aganist me. Little Bones is stoked for his day care Halloween party today.
Littlest is currently down for his first nap. It's rainy today so we are staying in.

If I had to guess, the dog is crated or locked in a room and is bored. It might stop. It might not. If it was hurt, it would probably be making more howling type noises than barking.

They are coming to film LO for the infant study this am and then I joined jazzercise so I am going to go to that this afternoon. I hope LO does ok with the childcare.

We have a dog that gets put outside during the day and that dog barks at anyone/anything that passes by for hours. Even molly barks when she goes outside (I of course pull her in when she starts barking) but as long as the dog doesn't sound hurt they're probably just barking at the world.
Going to try my first Spin class today. To say I'm scared is an understatement but it's something I've always wanted to try so I'm just going to do it! I'm also nervous because I'll be using the gym's day care room for the first time. I'm going to keep Little A in her car seat and hope she sleeps for that hour. I'm also going to make sure the person watching over the room knows that my background is in early childhood education .. Maybe that'll scare them a little bit and not try anything funny.. Overprotective much :/
The nice thing about spinning is it is in a dark room and nobody can tell where your bike is adjusted, so if you need to take it easy, just do so.
Also, it's an hour. She'll be fine. I don't think telling them you have a background in childhood education will change anything about what they normally do. They will make sure she's not crying and that's about it. Most gym daycares won't even change diapers, they'll page you back to the room to do it.

Sounds like everyone is pretty sleepy. Hopefully everyone can get some good rest tonight.
+1 for being shocked it's November!
Today DS1 and I are heading to the pool. E will go to the daycare. Preschool this afternoon for DS1 and lots of errand running for E and me. I have to switch my drivers license so it matches our new address. Return library books. Mail a package. Get a few groceries.

I'm lucky. Not only will mine change diapers they'll feed too. Provided I give them a bottle
I just had to throw away 2 boxes of larabars due to mold. After eating 2.5 bars from one of the boxes. Gross. Guess I'll be going back to making my own.

We made it to the gym! Toddler thru a fit when I left her but hopefully she'll chill out. Planning a short-ish workout to ease back in...then a shower by myself.

My favourite part! My gym had a 2 hour limit. I would drop DS off, work out for an hour, then spend another hour in the sauna, showering, and getting ready in peace. So worth it!
That's how mine is...I'm more worried the baby won't make it 2 hrs without eating...

That really sucks, those are expensive!
Do you have a good recipe?
1 cup nuts finely chopped in food processor, add 1.25 cups dates and pulse until mixture sticks together. Spread in a 9x5 loaf pan and chill in the fridge for 30 min before cutting.
I soak the dates for 30 min first so they're softer, otherwise they won't combine as easily. I like using cashews better than peanuts (softer) and sometimes throw in chocolate chips .
Trying to go for a run if this creature ever stops eating. She's gone from nursing 8-12 min to 35-50 min at a time. How do some of you sit still for this long??? I'm going crazy. I've resorted to scraping ear wax out of her ear with my fingernail to keep myself entertained.
