The toddler has been sick since we got home from the hospital. He had a really bad attitude last night and this morning so I'm glad he's off to his grandparents today.

LO slept 6 hours last night. It was amazing, however, I thought my boobs we're going to explode by the time she finally woke up. Still worth it. I think.
AFM, I'm in the middle of a war with the ILs. MIL has been constantly criticizing MH and my parenting decisions and now can't understand why I don't want to be around her all the time. Cue her temper tantrum, complete with hysterical screaming at me in her driveway. I'm so over it. Grow the f*#! up.
AFM, I have an OB appointment in an hour. It's pouring rain and the only shoes that still fit me are flip flops. I can't wait till my feet aren't ridiculously swollen anymore.
It happens fast, so there's hope! Before I left the hospital (1-2 days) my feet looked dramatically different. And they were so much more comfortable. Hugs!
My step-mom is jealous of my MIL for getting to have more time with the baby since she lives nearby. My step mom came to help out shortly after BG was born and apparently her feelings were hurt because my MIL stopped by for an hour or two twice during the week my step mom was here and in that time got to hold the baby more. I honestly have no clue who held the baby more since I didn't realize this was something I should be timing. Ugh. Now my stepmom has asked what to get baby girl for Christmas and I said diapers since we are cloth diapering and need some more aios. My step mom has bought her several which is awesome, but is now complaining that she isn't buying her something fun instead. She has asked what my MIL is getting her (I have no idea) and I can tell it is because she doesn't want my MIL to give her the "fun" gift.
I had a crummy day, I burned myself with boiling water and some plans I was excited for got cancelled. And it was just really tough juggling both babies and the toddler this morning. And exhausted.
But I got my act together to go for a walk to Starbucks this afternoon when the rain stopped and my BFF brought us dinner and it was so delicious. And L sort of smiled for the first time while she was here. It was at my friend and not at me, but still so special. I've been waiting very impatiently for that to happen. Hoping it happens more soon, I could really use that reward!
