nitecheese, I missed this earlier, but I am so sorry. We had to put our 10 year old dog down last week and it was the worst thing I have ever done. So, so sorry.
Oh hey, here is a weird symptom that I'm not sure is a symptom. If I stand up too quickly, the muscles in my lower abdomen pull. I'm wondering if maybe there is a little more for those muscles to cover right now?

My doctor said it's round ligament pain from your uterus stretching. Moving suddenly, sneezing, coughing will all irritate it. I have it, too.

Definitely round ligament pain. I get this a bunch when I work because I change positions from sitting to standing frequently and quickly. I've found that when I take my time more and make more purposeful movements, I get it less.

Ah, ok, I didn't realize that's what round ligament pain was. I've heard the term but never actually looked it up. I try to remember to stand up slowly, but since it doesn't regularly hurt I'll forget after sitting for awhile, stand up suddenly, and ouch. I'm sure the negative reinforcement will get through eventually
My DS is still having a hard time with his cast. He's had such a rough week-so fussy, whining a lot, not eating or sleeping very well. I'm sure he's so thrown off from my DH being gone and us being in a new place. My parents have all wood floors so he's slipping all of the time. I felt so sick tonight and was so frustrated with him that my Mom took him from me while I was in tears and put him to bed! Thankful to be with family, but I don't know how we're going to make it when we get home next week and are alone again. Hopefully he starts doing better.
Sorry your DS is having a hard time, txmommy14. Hopefully he'll do better when he's in a more familiar environment even if you don't have as much help.
