muscari, Sending you so many (((Hugs))) I am so sorry that you are having so many issues just getting a referral.
Right now we are tentatively planning for a Saturday Birthday IUI.
I work for a huge company and I have a few departments in mind. I just hope that I can find something sooner rather than later because work gets worse and worse every day...

XP from the AL play date thread:
Update: My lining is actually thinner today than it was on Tuesday. Today it measured 5 mm. I am sitting at my desk at work crying now because I cant seem to catch a break. I just want shit to work out. I know I am ready to trigger tonight but I don't know if they will let me do the IUI. I am asking about getting an Rx for estrogen or something to help. At this point I need something to help my lining... I cant keep wasting money on meds and IUI's just hoping that this time my lining cooperates. there has to be something they can do to help.
sarcaztic10, ((hugs)) I'm so sorry your lining is not cooperating. I hope your RE is able to come up with a solution! That has to be so frustrating! I hope you're able to get the job with another department.
grneyes, I hope you get the results soon. A Caribbean cruise sounds amazing! I'm jealous!
powerofbacon, sounds like your home projects are coming along well. I'm excited to decorate for xmas this year too! I love picking out our tree!
4furrypaws, I'm sorry about the rubella. I know that has to be disappointing. ((hugs))
renegadewhit, I hope the next 7 months passes quickly for you! How do you like driving for Uber? That reading nook sounds super cool. I want one.
@sarahwithanh, so many (hugs). I have definitely been where you are before with feeling like nothing is ever going to change. I'm sorry you have so much going on right now, especially with your family, that can be really hard. I think taking a break could do you some good and could talking with a professional. It really sounds like you need to start putting yourself first. If you ever need to talk, I'm here!
crimpgirl, I'm sorry the first IUI did not work out. I'm so glad you're enjoying the reflexology. It seems like you have a really good attitude right now, so that's awesome.
menrandes, ((hugs)) lady, do what you need to do to take care of you. We're here when you need us.
@eliida, I have everything crossed for you this cycle. I hope things continued to go well. GL with your new work responsibilities!
muscari, I'm so sorry for your BFN, I know all to well how much those hurt to see and I also know how it feels to get your hopes up during certain cycles. ((Hugs)) I also know how scary it is to start the RE process. That was one of the hardest things I have done, having to admit that we probably could not get pregnant on our own. But honestly, once you get started it does feel kind of good to have a medical professional on your side who wants to see you get pregnant. I hope your able to get through all the paperwork. I'm here if you need to talk.
AFM, we started our first IUI cycle this month. I'm currently on day 3 of letrozole and feel pretty good. I have an ultrasound scheduled for Monday and if all looks good I will trigger Monday night and have the IUI Wednesday morning. This is all new to me so I'm so nervous and really worried about screwing up the meds or the trigger. I'm also nervous about my ultrasound on Monday. FX that everything looks good and we can move forward. It feels good to be doing something pro-active with TTC but also just makes me so nervous. We are OOP so I really need this to work!
I only have 5 weeks left of this semester of school and then I will only have 6 more semesters to go! I started a new job this week that I like MUCH better than my former job, so hopefully that continues to go well.
FX and all of the positive vibes cali!!! And I'm so thrilled to hear the new job is working out better than the last! Wow, only 6 more semesters?! You'll be done in no time! I always felt like semesters go by so much faster than quarters
cali, so far so good with the Uber driving. I might go out and drive tonight since MH is in school. I'm glad the medicated cycle is going well. Good luck with the IUI!
Ummm yes, I may need an über driver to meet me at the Uranus Fudge Factory
I occasionally check the 'social' part of an app I used before FF to keep track of my cycles, and several women had been posting early BFPs at like 10DPO recently.. and you know, it got me all excited and hopeful haha but well yeah I'm pretty sure I'm out with another BFN this morning at 14dpo. I know I'm not out till I'm out but I'm just sure she'll show her face sooner or later. I'm done with being hopeful for now! Was watching a movie earlier and a really sad scene had me bawling (thank goodness MH had already left for his late shift haha) and I think it helped me loose most of my tense. So now I'm just impatiently waiting for AF to get that over and done with.
NCALR My BIL is in the hospital after a heart infarct and arrest earlier this week, which sure hit home as well. We had a similar scare with MH last year (though luckily he ended up being fine) and with all my own trips to the Cardiac ER over the years, it's bringing back a lot of memories. I'm glad he's okay for now (he's been soooo lucky) and in good hands but still... brrr.
Retrieval is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. My E2 is soaring so we stopped all stims yesterday and I started cabergoline. We may have to do a freeze all, cancelling the transfer until the ohss is dealt with. At least Gatorade has some new flavors. Right now I'm washing my oyster crackers down with cucumber lime. FX all these follicles are holding some healthy eggs.
Thanks cavewmn - unfortunately today is CD1 - ugh...
Meh agpjt413, sorry for CD1, CD1 here for me as well so I hear you on the ugh. *hugs* At least this means I get to spike my drink tonight lol.
@eliida, meh I'm sorry you did end up with OHSS:( Good luck with the ER tomorrow, fx for an awesome haul ! (okay that sounds odd but you know what I mean? lol)
cali, monitoring U/S tomorrow right? Good luck and you'll rock that trigger shot!
sarcaztic10, I hope you had a nice birthday - and that the IUI went well?

Update: the IUI its self went well but Hs sperm count was lower than ever. He usually has 40 million post wash and this time he only had 8 million post wash. I was feeling pretty hopeless yesterday. Today I am just accepting it and trying to move on. I made an appt with my RE for the 17th to discuss my lining issues and see if we can't come up with a better protocol for the next IUI.

Hugs Hun. Let's just keep everything crossed for now! Xoxoxo
**hugs** sarcaztic10 - keeping fingers and toes crossed for you. Like crimpgirl says, you only need one good one! Don't give up on this cycle just yet *hugs*
@eliida, thinking of you today!
Quick update on my BIL for those wondering; they did a coronary catheterization on Friday to locate the infarct. They found two blockages but in a very difficult to reach area for angioplasty/ stent placement. Also there was dmg from a previous infarct, and sis&BIL in hindsight knew exactly when that must have been, a year or 4 ago he had similar episodes but less severe and he just took it easy instead of seeing a dr at the time. He really saw the tunnel this time. For him it was a pretty peaceful experience he said, but my sister (and the rest of the family) was/is pretty freaked out about it obviously heh. They're doing some more tests and imaging today&tomorrow then will discuss and decide on a plan of treatement, meds and/or surgery.
