I am doing stuff F needs. On my list is the fisher price sit me up chair, bottle labels for DC, a couple of soft books, and a baby's first Christmas ornament. Between us and the grandparents that should be enough.
I am doing a book and a movie for first Christmas and will carry that on for every Christmas. Obviously he isn't going to watch the movie yet but I thought it was a good excuse to start his collection. I got him Twas the night before Christmas for his book and Aladdin (since it was re-released) for his movie. I thought it would be a nice tradition to start.
So far I've only asked for Dr. Suess books and Little Golden Books. Haven't thought much about what else he might need because he's too tiny to need much. Maybe an exersaucer, I guess. No clue, really.
We're getting Seedling the sun from the celestial buddies collection since her room is space themed (my sister got her the moon before she was born), and then maybe a few new diaper covers.
We still have everything left over from Seedling and H hates clutter so we honestly don't need much, but I hate to not get her anything at all.
I had been so stuck on this topic and then today I added about 15 things to his wishlist. I added "boy" books and toys to last until his birthday. So board books about tractors and dinosaurs, etc. And then I found a few sports toys, my first workbench, etc. and added them. I am going to go back and add some tractor toys and what not. I figure whatever is still there would be good for Easter and then birthday.
I also have on there: sleepsacks in the next few sized, shoes, his next size up carseat (won't last long in the infant one), diapers, and other practical things.
From us- he's not getting much- MOTY here. He will get a few clothing items, maybe 1-2 toys, and something in his stocking. Pretty much enough for pictures and so his sister sees him getting things from Santa.
We are starting the tradition of giving DD and DS a box with pj's, popcorn, and a new movie on Christmas eve. We will probably do monsters inc/monster university since DD became obsessed over Halloween.
For other gifts, he is getting a book and one toy that he can grow into.
Just a heads up--baby's first Christmas ornaments go fast (the cute ones do at least). So get yours sooner rather than later because once they are gone they don't get more.
And we will be wrapping diapers, wipes, pacis, and maybe a new bottle or two, and other necessities just so that my other kids don't think something is up when the baby didn't get any presents.
He's getting a few clothes, some pj's to match big brother, my pal scout, a play mat, teethers, diapers, a glow worm, and probably a lovey.. In his stocking is just going to be some socks, pacis, rattles..NOT sure what his grandparents will get him.
DS1 is getting a remote control car, a car in a wheel(no idea what that is actually called), blaze stunt machine, clothes, matching pj's(with little brother), shoes, a mickey mouse on a trike, a mickey that sings the "hot dog song", socks, underwear and I'm not sure what else... His stocking will be hotwheels, some "pills" (Smarties), toothbrush, toothpaste.
Possibly a couple movies or books for the both of them
iamgroot, I had never heard of the celestial buddies. I may have to add that to the list for the kiddo, those are super cute. I am disproportionately sad that they don't have a Pluto, though!
Otherwise, if any family asks, I think we'll mention a kid carrier for hiking, a kid seat to attach to our bikes next summer, and maybe a kick and play piano.

According to their Facebook page they plan on adding a Pluto! I was pretty sad too until I saw that. It should be pretty cute, because they've shared some fan arr that looks like this, so I hope they're using it as inspiration.
We are asking for 6 month clothes or larger. We have a ton of clothes but they are the wrong season. I also have the sit me up seat on his list. Books A jelly cat stuffed animal. A tunnel MIL already got him a baby's first Christmas ornament as soon as she found out his name. She did the same for E.
