My Mom left, but I have son many things I could have vented about.
This one is funny. After a week of in laws and a week of my Mom helping a bunch of our dishes are not where we expect them to be. It's like a weird scavenger hunt in our kitchen.
. can I recommend Amazon wish list? I add things while I'm nursing and just tell everyone to look there. It's always ongoing. So much easier than answering questions about what the kids want and remembering who you told what to.

This kind of drives me insane. Like it's nice you're being helpful and putting dishes away but is it really helpful if you make zero effort to put them where they belong and I have to search for them?!?! My tupperware cupboard is very organized, by size with the lids placed underneath...MIL makes zero effort to put the tupperware in the right place and just shoves it in wherever. Makes me ragey.

F is more fussy than DD1 was as a baby. Like the must be held all day kind of baby. When MIL visits she loves to brag about F not being fussy and kind of implies its all on my head. Ummm no. of course she is not fussy because you are holding her. I have to actually put her down during the day to do basic survival things like eat, pee, and shower which cue the melt downs.

This really isn't that big of a deal but I think it's weird so I'll share- MIL loves to bake and does not have a kitchenaid mixer. I was chatting with my SIL and told her I was thinking of getting MIL one for xmas if she wanted to go in on it. Yesterday SIL texts DH, BIL, her husband and BIL's wife saying she has decided to buy MIL a kitchenaid if anyone wants to chip in. Way to steal my thunder

I would send a reply all text back saying "I am so glad you liked my idea! We are in!"

Hahaha! It took everything in me not to reply with, "Great idea! So glad I thought of it!"
