I also have the "brown pee" issue. I don't remember this from last time and it started yesterday after no discharge for a few days. I know it is coming from the vag cause I feel it happen. I assume it's the last of the lochia.
I never checked to see where my stitches were. But I'm about 95% sure I ripped one having my first poop. I didn't call the dr because I had over 10 stitches, so I figure one gone wasn't a huge issue. And I keep forgetting to call and make my PP visit. The 3 week check up was supposed to be today. Oops
So this isn't TMI but my BP is still high, I guess I thought it would be going down by now. Kind of wondering if anyone else's is high?
not sure of your exact situation, but I had severe pre-e with DD1 and my blood pressure remained elevated for 3-4 months postpartum. I was medicated that whole time.
This time I did not have pre-e and my blood pressure was fine during pregnancy but was elevated within two weeks postpartum (140/100), so I am back on meds. Apparently some people's bodies just react like this to pregnancy / labor / delivery / etc. I think it is most normal for your blood pressure to go back to normal by 6 weeks out but there are a fair amount of people where it takes longer.
@saveourship My doc said it's normal. Stuff is still swollen and what not in that area. Plus anytime you go a few weeks without real contact in there it's gonna suck.
I finished my antibiotics for my infection I ended up with after my c-section on Tuesday. I noticed today that I still have discolored discharge and slight uterine cramping (which were my original symptoms of the infection to begin with). I hope it doesn't mean the antibiotics didn't work and I'll have to do another round. I feel like Seedling and I dodged a bullet not getting thrush or yeast issues the first time around and I don't want to push my luck. Plus they made me feel terrible.
H and I finally had sex last week and even though I had a c section, it still really hurt. Is that normal? Either way, not super enjoyable.
It's definitely normal - especially if you are nursing. I think nursing is associated with vaginal dryness. I had to use a lot of lube until I weaned DD1 (never use lube outside of that). Even if you aren't nursing, your hormones are still all out of whack at this point and I think the sex is going to be different for a while.
starry I only had gestational hypertension. So no meds or anything since it showed up around 35 weeks. I got the impression from my doctor that delivering would "cure" it, so I am surprised to see it's still high. Good to know it can take awhile.

. I had Brown discharge but it was from the vag. From what i read that is your lochia tapering off. It goes from red blood to Brown blood/discharge to a white/clear discharge. I confirmed this with my OB. I thought I had a yeast infection because I had a ton of whitish discharge at 5 weeks.

Ugh! Not what I wanted to hear... My 6 week appt is next Thursday. DH is counting the minutes. I'm not nearly as excited but I didn't realize it would hurt
I was cleared for sex today. MH is SUPER excited to give it a go. I feel like a nervous virgin all over again, only less enthusiastic and more sleep deprived. FFTC? I'm hoping it doesn't last very long.
We ad the same feels. Husband was so excited I was so nervous. Luckily it went pretty good and wasn't painful at all.

Lube is your friend. And it will (should) get better.
